Christmas is a season of love, a season of giving, a season of forgiveness and a season to be with your family.
I know today, almost everyone is so busy preparing food to be shared with family, others are still wrapping gifts to be given away and others are busy bonding with each other.
Looking at my social media account, I saw a lot of post in different places with different Christmas decorations. We jokingly said that they already have their attendance checked on that place and hoping that one day, we too can visit the place.
Last night (Saturday evening), we decided to spend some time in visiting Christmas decorations in three different places together with my sister in law as well as our god parents.
Barangay Cannery Site
We live in Barangay Cannery Site and our Barangay also exerted an effort to make a Christmas decorations. We visited them first.
As we approach the entrance, this is what welcomed us. Wow! I love the lights and how they arranged it forming into arc.
We never wasted time and took a family picture with it.
I, my husband and our son. Having a family picture is seldom for us so we took this opportunity.
This is my sister in law and her family. I took a picture of them using my cellphone as requested because it looks clearer at night.
Me and my god mother. This is our god mother who is always good to us. She always remember us when she have blessings and she always share it with us.
This is our Barangay Hall filled with Christmas lights that makes it visible even at night.
This is the Christmas tree being put up in front of the Barangay Hall. It is not that big compared to other Christmas tree but this is the biggest in that place.
Dole Philippines
The next destination is the Christmas decorations by Dole Philippines. They really exert an effort in making beautiful Christmas decorations not just for their employees but for all the people around.
This is the Christmas tree of Dole Philippines. I like it's blue color. We asked someone to take pictures of us in it but it is not that clear.
This is one of the best spots on their decoration. So, I really pose in it. It's me and the deer.
We also had a family picture in this spot. I love looking at this.
Another pose with my cute son who enjoyed the most in this moment.
Here is a picture of him where he had a great smile. He really requested a solo picture in here.
Using recycled materials is another thing I love in the Dole Philippines Christmas decorations. They used plastic cups being cut and formed into flowers. They painted it and it turned out into a very beautiful and colorful flowers.
This snow man is also made of recycled materials. It is made of plastic cups.
This hot air balloon is made of tin cans and a plastic bowl or cups. Dole Philippines is indeed an advocate of recycling.
Before we leave this place, these two kids are so happy having pop corn given by my god mother. They are so happy with this simple gift.
Polomolok Municipal Hall
Our third and last destination last night is at Polomolok Municipal Hall. This is our Municipal Hall decorated with lights.
In front of it is these arc filled with Christmas lights.
We took pictures in here too as a remembrance.
Another family picture.
This is the giant Christmas tree put up in the center of the municipal plaza.
These two kids enjoyed being at the foot of it.
The trees are also decorated with Christmas lights that made the surroundings more brighter and colorful.
This is another arc filled with Christmas lights.
We ended this moment by sipping some mango shake as it is only what we can afford and we then go home happy and satisfied.
A simple moment like this with family and friends makes a great quality time that we can cherish a lifetime.
The sun already set and I would like to greet everyone a happy holiday. May the season of love, season of giving and season of forgiveness will fill our hearts not just today but everyday.
May we celebrate this season with gratefulness in our hearts. Enjoy and keep safe everyone.
