We are never perfect in the first place and we can never be. No matter how we perfect things in our ends, still there are times in our life that we can make mistakes which can create a big impact to our lives and will create an opening for our enemies to invade our private life. We can never avoid that due to the very curious minds of our fellow humans so be it.
As I said above I'm one of those who's not perfect and I commit mistakes sometimes which affect the flow of my life. The impact of those mistakes can be good or bad to our lives but at some point I'm glad that I made some of it because it opened the eyes of certain people especially me.
There's lot of things that I did in the past that may look mistakes in the eyes of people and caused them to judged me alive. Let me share some of those but I will just highlight the thing that gave the most huge impact to what I am now.
I'll never regret fighting for our own rights as a human being even if we are just poor.
Some people here in this planet really wants to mess with the people around them especially whey they are neighbors. We have one here who's very agressive through his actions and words.
This one happened way back 2020, it's almost 2 years now. Our neighbor who's my uncle also is a warfreak and many people here in our place know it. He talk harsh words to people he didn't want amd we experienced it. He even threatened the life of my grandmother.

When he did that, something inside me was lighted up and it burned the silence. It was a silent night before then we were eating our dinner when he got home but he's drunk. He began shouting and he said a lot of things but the one that triggered me to shout back to him also was the phrase he said,
"You're a terrible woman, come here and let me shot your head with my gun."
He said other things but that one made me angry so I shouted back at him just once. My grandma stopped me the second time and she said, "Let him be, don't mind him."
Scenarios like this happened many times every evening. One morning we had our breakfast and I smelled something burning. Fire has been already put off in our dirty kitchen so where's it coming from. We look around, maybe some wirings inside the house.
As I go out I saw smokes coming from the side of our house and my warfreak uncle burned something almost near to our bamboo wall. I hurriedly fetch water to put it off because it can burn our wall if it grows big. I was very angry at that time.
That day I decided to go to the barangay together with my grandma already to file a complaint against our neighbor because he already tresspassed and nearly burned our house. The officials present that time agreed to us that it's better to summon him to settle the matter.
They summoned him many times but he didn't responded. The 3rd time they called him, he arrived with the sister of my late grandfather. The session started immediately after he arrive. We discussed the reason why we filed a summon. He responded he just did that because he was drunk.
The barangay captain wants us to forgive him already because it's just a simple case but I confronted the him that it was not. Because the moment he shot his gun towards my grandmother, her life can't be bring back again. My uncle said that he can never do that but I answered "We don't know what's going on in that little brain of yours so it's better to be safe than sorry."
I stand firm to my decision that it needs to be settled with an agreement and the moment he will act like that again, we will call the police to pick him up because what if he has a gun. So we had an agreement on paper with that condtion. We both signed to it.
He wants to make peace with us so we agreed but I said to him that the close relationship we had before he did that will never come back again. He cried begging us to forgive him. I just had a shake with his hand and we parted ways.
With all of those happenings in our life, I will never regret that I break my moral code to disrespect my uncle, shouted back at him to fight for our rights as a human. Also we were happy with the result because he became good again and never shout whenever he is drunk.

Maybe our action to summon him also opened his eyes that he's doing no good anymore and already disturbing the peace of other people. Peace came back again and I showed to them that even if we're not that rich, we can put the law into motion.
This is my entry to the weekend prompt hosted by sir @galenkp. I chose the topic what will be the one thing you will never regret. A good prompt as always.
Thank you for reading.
