Fear is a good thing; it helps to reposition us to overcome that which may be daring to us.

What am I afraid of?
Yes! I'm afraid of failing to rise again.
At every instant of life, we fail several times, and we're encouraged not to stay down whenever we fail. Failing does not make you a failure. Failing to rise after failing makes one a failure. So yes, I'm afraid to rise again. Life is full of hurdles and troubles. It seems the waking of each day brings blows to us in different sizes and angles.

Despite our resilience, there are times when our bodies and spirits require a rest. Probably not for a long time, but definitely not as one that's giving up.

I pride myself on being a goal-getter and an achiever who is resilient to the tantrums life throws at us. I'm afraid my spirit may become weak someday, and I may find it difficult to rise after a fall.

Life is not rigid, and hence, despite being afraid to fail, I am not scared to view life in its flexibility, allowing myself to adjust to what's necessary so I can get the best out of life.

Why I'm afraid of failing is because, I have mentored many people both knowingly and otherwise. I have been an encouragement to many people, and I have sacrificed selflessly for others, both knowingly and unknowingly. Failing to rise to continue the struggle would discourage a whole lot of other people. So yes, beyond my fear of failure, I do not wish to see discouragement in the eyes of those who look up to me or rely on my efforts and successes.

Thus, day by day, I live life one step at a time and live life a little so that strength may not fail me when I need it the most.

It's a hard process to rise again after one has fallen. The resistance can be immense. I like to see it as another try at achieve the things I want to achieve but this time differently. Taking a break and regrouping my thoughts and emotions also helps immensely.

You're right.
Falling gives room for serious thoughts and usually, a better rise

Yes, it empties the pot so that it can be filled anew. Sometimes, it's the thing we need to climb higher heights.
