My high school years was filled with alot of fun, exciting ,memorable and embarrassing moments.
During my years in high school i was a very shy and introverted person, I normally just associate myself with the boys .
Girls then where easy to get because everyone where not really exposed and matured. It was a time you can help a girl do her assignments and she will become your girlfriend from there.
Even with all this ,you will still hardly find me in the middle of girls not because I don't like to talk to them but because I just always feel awkward and shy having a face to face conversation with them.
I was in a boarding school and they where alot of girls I had crush on and I won't tell them until we go on holiday , when I will be with my phone , and I will just express my feelings to them on facebook🤣.
I wasn't a social butterfly and I really just had few friends in my circle majorly friends that were in my class.
There are 6 years in my high school ,the first 3 years where called junior secondary school which was from Jss1 to Jss3 and the second three years where from SS1 - SS3. Now, in my first three years I was very serious with my studies but I was never really that good in mathematics. So my mum pays my maths teacher to guide and tutor me outside of the clases , for me to improve in mathematics.
I didn't participate much in any sporting activities or went for any competitions at all. Maybe I participated in sports just once and that was a relay race during my second year in junior secondary school (JSS2).
During this first three years, I was always in the class of best students, we were almost about 123 total students in four different classes (A-D) , and my overall lowest position was 13th.
After the first three years I did an entrance exam which was mainly on English and maths,the two courses that I was always scared of, and I didn't do really good I was 83rd amongst my classmates.
Later on,we moved to Senior Secondary School where we were splitted into three different departments (Science,Art and Commercial). I wanted to study Agriculture so I was placed in the Science class.
During these three years I became really unserious and find it hard to read. At this point I had alot of more difficult courses from chemistry to maths to Physics. I was never really good at calculations even up till now and that was why these courses where a hard nut to crack for me.
I started moving with the bad guys, they where alot of times I will not attend classes and be somewhere else. I will forget my textbooks in the hostels and sometimes my notebook and even pen.
During exams and tests I and these boys we where four then in my class,we will make sure to sit at the back of the class. As soon as the exam starts we will start passing papers we brought in, to each other and we will just be cheating . I promise you we did this throughout my three years even in my final year exams in the Senior secondary school and we didn't get caught once.
I had an old maths teacher then that will always punish me and ask to me cut grasses at the back of the class just because I didn't bring my mathematics textbook to the class.
My last year in the secondary school (SS3) was during corona in 2020. Due to the pandemic ,we were told to go home and our final year exams were postponed. We spent alot of months at home and it was really getting boring and tiring. After the pandemic was over,we were asked to resume back in August that year. It was only just us the graduating students that were present in school. Now, we found a route in our school where we can sneak out. What we do is pass this route and travel to another town to have fun and go visit the game house to Play FIFA on PS4. We normally bet on the winner at times and pay a certain amount of money. Once we are done playing,we will make sure to go back to the school before night time to avoid getting caught.
My embarrassing moments
We did a maths exam in SS1 and I scored 9 out of 70 . That was really embarrassing because it was a girl in my class that was told to share the examination script and she was someone I didn't even like at all and vice versa. Now,she had the chance to make jest of me.
Also, when they say shorts girls are short tempered , I didn't believe it until this day. There was a girl in my class she was my age but was very short that she always looked up to me . On that fateful day,we were free and wasn't having any lectures so I was just bored and I decided to play with this small girl oo. Along the line,she just stood up and slapped me on the face. I was so furious that I threw the rake I saw in class at her but luckily enough, it didn't touch her.
There was a teacher at the other class that noticed the commotion in our class , she punished both of us and we wrote a statement form stating that we won't ever be involved in such act again.
Each time I set my eyes on that girl I was always angry and disappointed of not been able to do something to her for embarrassing me in a very bad way.
There where alot of experiences I had during my high school years and I am grateful I had the priviledge to experience them because they really had several positive impacts on my life.
