Happy weekend to everyone, hope we all enjoy our weekend. After I took a short break from writing due to my health condition. I thank God for my life and am back on my feet.
To embarrass can be to humiliate, to disrupt somebody's composure or comfort with acting publicly or freely, to disconcert, to abash.
Embarrassment can come in various forms. And with grades or levels. Although some people set special definitions for embarrassment. Embarrassment is usually noticed in public places or in gatherings.
Johnson Embarrassed us
Johnson is my cousin and he has been staying with us from his tender age. He was known as part of our family, only a few could know that he is not from our immediate family because we treat him like one of us and we also attend the same school. He has been a family pickpocket. He is not yet a thief because he steals only from my parents and elderly siblings. He started with stealing meat from the pot of soup. And he was not noticed at first because he only cut big meat into two and took one. Not until my sister who wanted to ease herself one night when she saw him dipping his hand into the pot to fetch meat. She shouted at him and they punished him so that he would desist from the act.
Later he graduated to stealing from my mother's purse. He did this for a long period before he was caught. That unfortunate day for him, he stole a five hundred naira note from my mother's purse and bought a toy gun of that worth. He has been playing with the gun the whole day and later at night he decided to hide it in his bag. That same day his teacher needed a pen to write out something, his teacher saw the gun in his bag and questioned him and after some findings it was discovered that he was responsible for the five hundred naira my mother was looking for.
After much advice and talk from his parents, Johnson was defiant and he continued his bad act.
Every student gathered on the assembly ground, Johnson stayed back and stole a thousand naira from his classmate's bag and he quickly dropped the money in his bag not knowing that one of the teachers was passing through the corridor of the classroom. He stole the money and joined others on the assembly ground. When they get to the class Kate has discovered that the money given to her to pay her school fees has reduced by a thousand naira, so she went straight to her class teacher to lodge a complaint.
During the reporting process in the classroom, the teacher who saw Johnson taking something from Kate's bag raised his concern and decided to check Johnson's body and bag, after serious searching the money was seen in Johnson's bag and he put us in shame and I am very EMBARRASSED in front of the whole school in the assembly ground because people are pointing at me that my brother is a thief.
