Good evening. It is a Sunday again. It rains a lot recently and one of the places that I love to visit is the beach. The waves are quite high but is an amazing feeling to just stand there and listen to the waves hitting the shores.
There I not many tourists here in Miri which is one of the things I love since it doesn't get too crowded.
One of the most popular beaches that I went to today is the Luak Esplanade beach here in Miri. The city of Miri has lots of shorelines so you can visit many of the shores. The best thing to do here is just to stroll around and enjoy the sounds of the waves. One tip though when you visit beaches here is to wear slippers instead of sneakers. I did that a long time ago and by the time I got home, the soles of the shoes came off easily.
The beautiful sunset
One of the best things to do as the so-called 'healing' is to just sit there and enjoy the view of the sunset. The sky usually turns slightly orange and pink. Currently, it is the rainy season so the skies are slightly in the darker dull shades. But, nope, it at times doesn't rain.
The sea waves at me as it rushes into land and makes rumbles. The air is fresh.
There are many others here too enjoying their time. There is a playground here too for those with kids.
The bushes here are well-trimmed and not much rubbish to be seen. One thing though, that I notice every time I come here is the receding shorelines.
This is the area for the market but not many stalls are opened. There is one stall that is open which is the fried banana stall. Little tidbits.

This beach has a long shoreline. Stretches a couple of kilometers. A great place just to get some blood moving.
Some trees were uprooted due to the strong winds that have been blowing with the heavy rainfall recently. However, I felt that this could make a beautiful art piece.
Walking along the long shorelines is a great way to enjoy the evening. The best way to enjoy the day.

One of the things we love to do is at times just head to places like this and enjoy ourselves.
I spend an hour and a half here just to enjoy the evening here from the hustle and bustle of the city.
