Greetings to all my friends in Hive. This is my first time participating in the weekend-engagement concept, every weekend the topics are very interesting and this time I found one that I would like to alk about.
Weekend on fire
Your house is on fire - You manage to get your family and pets out of the house safely and have time to go back for only one single item. What is it and why? Remember, only one single item, not two, or three; One. Write at least 350 words explaining your choice and why and try to use photos you took yourself.
It is very difficult to think that I could ever find myself in a situation like this. I imagine it would be very difficult since one would want to be able to save the whole family and pets, because they are part of the family too and it would be very hard to see all your belongings being destroyed in the fire.
Assuming it happens to me and my family and pets are not in danger, I can accept losing everything I have sacrificed for, but if I had time to go back for an item I would want my Bible back. For me it is very important because it is the word of God, who guides us to all truth, it is the salt of life, it is the salt of the earth, it is the light of my path, my confidence, with it I learn to be a better person , to recognize my mistakes, to share my experiences with God, my knowledge, gives me wisdom to learn to behave before people who can make me angry.
Before knowing the word I was walking aimlessly or direction and as the Bible says it is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. The Bible has been my guide, in it I have found peace and comfort. It is the original source of love, it is an important scripture for people as it brings us peace. It is made up of so many things that it is impossible to summarize all its meaning in a few words.
For all of these reasons the Bible is very important to me and I thank our savior Jesus Christ for being in my heart. Thanks for reading and blessings to all.
