How can I stop exploring when the wild heart of nature is so soothing? How can I stop discovering when everything around me seems so enticing?
I will explore, discover, and be happy, for every beautiful experience is priceless.
It was a pleasant morning when we left home. While on our way, we had first thoughts about going to a beach or a cool place where we could relax. There were a lot of findings and suggestions, but one thing that struck me was the place with the most breezy atmosphere.
Suddenly, we thought of passing the other road to Cagayan de Oro City. We passed along Kili-og, Libona, Bukidnon.
Our feet led us to an overview scenery of beautiful falls with mountain views and verdant trees.
I was able to witness a magnificent view through the observation deck.
Little did I know that I had seen a triple waterfall in Baungon, Bukidnon, known as the Balangikog Falls.
The beautiful overview of scenery is part of Bukidnon but very near Indahag, Cagayan de Oro City.
Then, we went to another beautiful destination.
When we left the place, we surfed the online map to check somewhere not crowded.
Since passing through the diversion road, we decided to visit Kawa Native Carenderia. Kawa, a Cebuano dialect means kettle and carenderia is a typical food stall in the Philippines.
Not very special, yet discovering unique places and eating sumptuous food makes a happy soul on a fair day through a taste of native by the lusciously emerald trees while leaving nothing but purely memories of pleasures.
I have not even stepped on the area, but still, I traveled valiantly to taste a touch of its native ambiance by the trees and antique stones.
When I arrived, I was amazed by its soothing climate, and everything seemed to be in order. So I immediately got out of the car and entered the fantastic place that was something new to me.
The structure was built natively with the most loved and delicious cuisines in an orderly and ordinary way, yet an excellent preparation for a sumptuous meal. As native as it is, the foods were locally made and were not in the most typical way where fares were set in big trays, yet they were settled down in a native kettle where visitors could happily choose what type of native food to eat.
Indeed, simplicity is elegant, where the heart profoundly feels what the eyes cannot fully see.
The area inside is not too spacious since this is just a place where you can ask some queries and place some orders. As I look at the inside part, I love those ornaments and designs made of native materials that I even wish to have a rest house built in a native structure with a touch of vintage and classics.
But I was even more amazed by the native tables and locally made huts where I would stay to have a great taste of native by the trees. One thing I have learned from this adventure is that unplanned travel is the best as I am delighted to where I destined myself for some relaxation instead of going directly to my favorite fast food chains where I usually go.
Growing up in between the mountain ridges made me savor the palatability of life. I could even remember my life before as I lived with my ever-loving grandmother when we had a few livestock yet not suitable for selling. They were intended for consumption, not to mention the gooses, ducks, native chickens, turkeys, pigs, and cows I used to play with in the old times. But among the livestock that my grandmother took care of in our area, my favorite is any meal cook out of native chicken.
Perhaps any preparation out of native chicken makes my day so wonderful as this is what I am longing for, especially now I can hardly eat a meal out of any livestock in the backyard since I am no longer living with my grandmother. I am already living alone, but I am so happy and proud that she is so blessed to be eighty. So when deciding what food to eat, I cheerfully choose a local cuisine in a marinade of sauce with seasoning and other ingredients enhancing its flavor together with the native chicken soup and, of course, a bowl of unlimited rice and bottomless drinks.
In as much as I do love the taste of the foods, how I also love to taste the native and the heart of nature by the trees while feeling the cool breeze embracing me as I look at the beautiful surroundings with the calmest feeling on a fine day and there are so much to express of how wonderful my day is.
The weather is very fair like my feeling of happiness as my light heart jumps out for joy seeing the clear blue sky as the background of the spot is surrounded by the old verdant trees with great memories among a lot of people who usually go here to grasp an opportunity of feeling a breathtaking rendezvous for best experiences as good as tales.
Indeed it has a very soothing ambiance that I cannot help myself yet to eat more, stroll every corner all around, and unlimitedly capture every pricelessly significant moment in a day of my life.
My day ended with so much gladness in my heart, yet it does not end, for every single day is a moment to celebrate regardless of what the weather may be, as I would always love to wander anywhere into where my gracious feet lead me.
Tomorrow may be another day, but I will seize the day to capture every priceless memory with loved ones. I may not be able to capture everything but I had a great time. Perhaps it was a memorable experience by the falls and trees.
