It’s a long weekend.
Last weekend, I decided to have a real quick travel to Cebu City. Thus anyone here know about Cebu City? I know everyone here knows about this beautiful place.
Cebu City is the oldest and first City in the Philippines it is known as the Queen City because the people and place there are so beautiful like it was.
Before everything else, I will share here with you how I got the place.
First thing first, it’s my second time to go to Cebu and as I am a traveler from the province of Bukidnon it takes almost 8-10 hours to go to Cebu City from Cagayan De Oro City when you go there. For you to know Cagayan De Oro City or short CDO is our City here in Bukidnon and it takes 2 hours you travel in CDO from our place.
So here it is, Before I go to Cebu City I need to have a ticket to ride a ship for it is almost one night to travel there and then after that, I need to find my deck and put some of my things in there and I was scrolling all around the ship as I have so many hours to take the moment. I decided to capture some of my experience in our ship and by the way, the name of the ship is Lite Ferry. Here are some of my shots in our port and ship as I got there and some of this I captured because I love the color of the sunset and sparkling ocean as I am a fan of them. After I scrolled all around the ship I got to sleep.
Welcome to Port of Cebu City
When I arrived in Cebu City port it was almost 5 a.m. and I saw some of my favorite to take a shot at the sunrise as I am a sunrise lover. I take some shot moments like the color of the sky, the fluffy clouds, and the ocean waves, I take a deep breath and feel the moment as I watch the place and I realize that God is so amazing because he creates a big and beautiful world for us.
Hello Cebu City
Touchdown Cebu and it’s already 8 a.m. As I arrived at the place I decided to grab a taxi to go to Church of Cebu. Does anyone here know about the oldest church of Cebu the Basilica Del St. Niño for it’s commonly known as Santo Niño Church it is a famous Roman Catholic Church here in Visayas, Philippines. Cebu is known for Santo Niño because it is the Patron of their church.
Santo Niño De Cebu is a child Jesus for its known religious and miraculous image of a Christ Child as they celebrate also the Sinulog Festival every 3rd Sunday of January.
As I got there in the place I decided to attend the mass for almost one hour. And I prayed for everything especially to God for all the blessings he gave to me. There were so many people attending the mass and I was so very happy and had tears of joy that after many months I want to go back to this place for the second time around. For you to know Cebu City is my dream place, especially the Basilica church. Way back when I was 20 years old after I worked as a private employee I always prayed and dreamed of going to Cebu to take the mass and now I realize that all of my dreams came true before I finally got here again with my dream place. I’m so proud also of myself that I traveled solo.

After the mass, I scrolled all around the Basilica church to get some picture shots and captured some beautiful places in the church. Here are some of my photoshoots within the church.
The Magellan Cross Pavilion
After all, I decided again to go back to Magellan’s cross. It is a famous tourist spot also in Cebu City Outside Basilica Church. Magellan’s Cross for its history represents the propagation of the Roman Catholic faith. It is historical in Cebu City for Magellan is known as one Portuguese explorer here in the Philippines. The picture below is the Magellan’s cross, which I decided to capture inside. Here are some of my shots. The cross inside is a wooden cross that Magellan represents for its miraculous healing power.

There are so many beautiful places or tourist spots in Cebu City I scrolled. But this one is the most important place for me to pray and visit the church. But soon if I can go back here to Cebu I will visit some of their tourist spots. Hopefully, soon I can visit again Cebu City and scroll around their place.

After the long weekend, I stayed here in Cebu, I decided to go to the port and get my ship ticket on Lite ferry to be back in Bukidon. My departure is 7 pm and I scrolled again all around the ship. And again, as I leave the place I feel the moment and take some pictures in the ship. I was so happy because I got finally to see again the CCLEX bridge, The CCLEX bridge known as the Cebu Cordova Link Expressway is one of the biggest and new bridges here in the Philippines for it is also a tourist spot in Cebu.
So after we left the Cebu Port, I decided to capture some beautiful colors of the CCLEX bridge the lights changed to four colors so here are some of my shots in the CCLEX bridge.

As the ship leaves the port, I realize that I'm gonna miss again this place. It’s good to be back here again, For many months I dreamed of being back here though it was a long weekend vacation for me the moments and experiences in my travel were so precious to me and I will keep it in my heart the happy memories I’ve experience in this place. Again I will be back here soon to share with you some of the beautiful tourist spots here in Cebu City.
