The other day, our province experienced a total blackout again. As in the whole province ರ_ರ, this happened all the time so we're kinda used to it now. I mean, we really don't have a choice but to get use to it ( ꈍᴗꈍ). This is the reason why I always made sure that my phone's battery was full every morning so that I could still use it even without electricity. I don't really care if we don't have light, I can live without an e-fan too. We don't use rice cookers to cook, and to be honest, it's all fine, but that's all fine only because I have my phone with me and it is fully charged.
I say that I'm too dependent on my phone now that I can't let go of it for a very long time. A life without my phone is like an old life in black and white - it's super, ultra, mega boring. But of course it is beautiful too, it's just sad, but it could be a good thing too if we look at it on a positive note. Although happiness is important, and my phone is one of my sources of happiness, and without electricity, I cannot use it, I can still find other fun things to do to make myself happy.
So with the question: Could I live in a world without electricity? Yes, of course! Without electricity and my phone, I can do some other things and not just spend an hours looking at my phone screen all day. It could be a good way to divert my attention to other things. I can explore and try other things I haven't tried before. I am more of a homebody, and I don't like much outdoor activity, but maybe I can use some of my time to do some outdoor activity. Maybe I'll try to explore what it's like outside my comfort zone. Maybe then I can still be happy without a phone and the electricity that gives life to that phone.
You may be wondering why I'm thinking more about my phone than my e-fan, TV, or maybe a fridge - things that are super helpful, especially in daily life. To be honest, those mean nothing to me. I stopped watching TV a long time ago, and I could also live without an e-fan, in fact, I just got an e-fan recently and only had my Abanico fan, which helped me get through the warm surroundings every night before that. I am not too dependent on those. I can very much live without them. As for the fridge, well, I avoid cold drinks and foods, so no thank you, lol.
So overall, yep, yes, uh-hah! I can live well even without electricity. My life will still go on, maybe 40% of my happiness will be reduced, but I can search for another good way to replenish that 40%. It's not like life will stop if we don't have electricity. We don't have wires attached to our body that need to plug in a socket just so we can move, we don't need to charge our body so we can work, food consumption for a recharge is all we need, so of course I can live without electricity (◕ᴗ◕✿).
How about you?
