Today, I went outside for dinner and had KBBQ with my friend and his friend. We were actually supposed to go to a Hong Kong restaurant that a mutual friend owns but he ffk'd (fong fei kei) us. In Cantonse, FFK is a short form for fong fei kei which means like ditching a plan so if someone suddenly cancels on you, you can say that they ffk'd you. Honestly, we were both not surprised since he's done it to us a lot before in the past.
Anyways today, I want to talk about two types of food that I could only eat until I die. The first type of food would be meat. I love meat as you can see from Korean BBQ. If I had to choose a specific type of meat, it would be beef. I love steak; I am still hoping to try hanwoo beef one day. I have tried Wagyu before and I can't wait to have more in the future!
The second type of food I would choose would be dessert. Malaysia is hot and humid so something nice and cooling would be great to have everyday. There are so many different desserts that I like such as bingsu, cendol, ice cream, milk tea (not sure if this counts), and the list goes on and on.
After the KBBQ, we went to try this dessert restaurant called Tian Dian and it was surprisingly good; I will write a post about it another day. Anyways for a specific dessert, I think I would go with the dessert I had today called the mango pomelo sago. It was nice and cooling with that mango flavor and it wasn't too sweet. I really enjoyed it and I will have to get it again in the near future.
My friend and his friend had the capybara pudding and psyduck pudding. I thought the presentation was fantastic and I could see why the shop had a lot of good reviews!
