Hello friends! Today I want to tell you a little bit about this weekend, which was a little different from my normal weekends where we usually stay at home resting or fixing things for the week.
¡Hola amigos! El día de hoy quiero contarles un poco sobre este fin de semana, el cual fue un poco distinto a mis fines de semana normales dónde generalmente nos quedamos en casa descansando o arreglando las cosas para la semana.
The first thing I have to tell you is how did I hurt my foot? Well, it has nothing to do with going out with my boyfriend and everything to do with the rush I'm always in.
On Friday I left work a few minutes early because I had to meet my aunt to deliver some things for my brother (@soychalbed) but before going I remembered that I had to buy some things at the bookstore so I got off in a hurry because they were waiting for me and when I was returning to the car I stepped on a hole that I had not seen, I must say that I was very scared because I thought I had fractured it and I was even going to ask my aunt to make me a study because she is a radiologist, but the pain passed pretty quickly and I assumed it was nothing serious.
Lo primero que debo contarles es ¿Cómo me lastime el pie? Pues nada tiene que ver con la salida con mi novio y todo que ver con lo apurada que ando siempre.
El día viernes salí del trabajo unos minutos antes porque debía encontrarme con mi tía para entregarle unas cosas para mí hermano (@soychalbed) pero antes de ir recordé que debía comprar unas cosas en la librería así que me baje apurada porque me estaban esperando y cuando regresaba al carro pise un hueco que no había visto, debo decir que me asuste muchísimo porque pensé que me había fracturado e incluso iba a pedirle a mi tía que me hiciera un estudio porque es radióloga, pero el dolor paso bastante rápido y asumí que no era nada grave.
Generally, I'm not the type of person to hold on to aches and pains, so I went on with my normal life over the weekend and had only worn a special bandage during the day, but without making a big deal of it.
Generalmente, no soy el tipo de persona que se aferre a los malestares, así que seguí con mi vida normal el fin de semana y solo había usado durante el día una venda especial, pero sin darle mayor importancia.
My boyfriend is a rock music lover, he enjoys it a lot, so much so that he has a rock band with his best friends and they frequently get together to play some songs.
One of his friends invited us to see a band that was going to perform at a Japanese food restaurant and without hesitation we decided to go (and me ignoring my injured foot 😂).
Mi novio es amante de la música rock, la disfruta mucho, tanto así que tiene una banda de rock con sus mejores amigos y frecuentemente se reúnen a tocar algunas canciones.
Uno de sus amigos nos invitó a ver una banda que se iba a presentar en un restaurante de comida japonesa y sin dudar decidimos ir (y yo ignorando mi pie lastimado 😂)
We had a very pleasant time, the restaurant had placed the tables in a kind of terrace to be outdoors, so the weather was quite favorable.
Pasamos un rato muy agradable, el restaurante había colocado las mesas en una especie de terraza para estar al aire libre, así que el clima fue bastante favorecedor.
The band that played was very good and they sang rock classics in both English and Spanish, and interacted with the people who were there who enjoyed a nice time to the rhythm of good music.
La banda que tocó fue muy buena y se dedicaron a cantar clásicos del rock tanto en inglés como en español, e interactúan con las personas que estábamos allí quienes disfrutaron de un rato agradable al ritmo de buena música.
As for the food, we ate very tasty and original. For my part, I decided to try a sushi pizza, which is nothing more than a version of sushi presented in the form of a pizza and not a roll, I assure you that it has nothing to do with conventional pizzas.
En cuanto a la comida, comimos muy sabroso y original. Por mi parte, me animé a probar una sushi pizza, que no es más que una versión del sushi presentado en forma de pizza y no de roll, te aseguro que nada tiene que ver con las pizzas convencionales.
My boyfriend did play it a little safe and decided to have an Alaska roll, which was also very tasty.
Mi novio si fue un poco a lo seguro y decidió comer un Alaska roll, que también estaba muy sabroso.
As for the drinks, I'm not much of an alcoholic drink lover, but some cocktails and sweet drinks please me, so I decided to order a mojito while my boyfriend had some beers.
En cuanto a las bebidas, no soy muy amante de las bebidas alcohólicas, pero algunos cócteles y tragos dulces me agradan, por lo que decidí pedir un mojito mientras mi novio tomaba algunas cervezas.
It was a nice weekend, getting out of the routine despite my little accident with my foot. Moments like these are necessary to recharge the batteries for the week that in the midst of the hustle and bustle does not allow many spaces for distraction, besides being a good opportunity to get out of the routine regarding food and eat different and delicious things.
Fue un fin de semana agradable, saliendo de la rutina a pesar de mi pequeño accidente con el pie. Momentos como esos son necesarios para recargar un poco las baterías para la semana que en medio del ajetreo no permite muchos espacios de distracción, además de ser una buena oportunidad para salir de la rutina respecto a la comida y comer cosas distintas y ricas.
