Hello and long time no see! It's good to be back after a very long break. If you're wondering why I stopped writing for a few months, it's because I was focusing on my job as a contact center representative at the time. I only stayed for a brief time since I decided to resign as a customer service representative due to certain personal issues, including my physical and emotional health. I also decided to resign because the free endless espresso was not enough, and I want more types of coffee, lol. Anyway, I'm here to talk about among the top drinks that I usually get when I leave the house.
Even though the weather is changing here in our area, milktea will never go away. Actually I was not really fond of this drink at first. But it turns out that the feeling is legit when you try a specific flavor - you will definitely start looking for it over and over.
This is the first milktea I tried a few years ago. I found it in my gallery and I was amazed because my first milktea was actually a matcha. As I backread my boyfriend and I's conversation, I told him that it was too sweet. It was good actually but because it also included cocoa/milo powder, it added to the sweetness even more. Little thing I was not aware of at that time is that you can tell how many level of sugar you want in milktea, just like starbucks.
So, ever since, I've told the merchant to only add 20% sugar in my milktea. It genuinely retains the same flavor, but because I had to limit my sugar consumption due to my diabetic mother, I learnt to decrease the amount of sugar that I must ingest.
It's a good thing that this type of beverage is not expensive here, so it cannot be denied that many people buy it. Imagine, this only costs less $1 and you will be full with the amount of bobba pearls and you will be really refreshed. Actually, it sells well to students, so many have actually started doing business with milktea shops. What's more interesting is that our shops are available anytime, so even if it's midnight and I suddenly have a craving, I can buy it right away. But I prefer to taste it every time I leave the house because I appreciate my drink more when I'm walking and talking to my partner. In this way, we can better review the flavors of the milk tea that we taste. I also love the taste of bobba pearls, you will literally feel full with the amount of it in your drink. Since I only leave the house a few times, I can say that I still take this beverage in a healthy way. Sometimes, there is the feeling that you are not hungry but you want to try other flavors of milk tea because it is so soothing to my eyes and I wanna try it. (Anyone here who can relate?)
Anyways, this is my entry for WE #168 writing suggestions. Thank you for reading this blog and see you around!
