Today our cycling group had organized to take care of the place where we often gather and have a picnic. We agreed on this weekend - Saturday and Sunday and so today was the start.
Early in the morning we set off to the chapel of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker located near the
Fisherman's village of Chengene Skele.
Some of us arrived by bicycles, others arrived by cars, carrying a lot of the tools and luggage.
Along the way, autumn spread beautiful carpets of falling leaves and a light breeze blew in our direction. It was nice to enjoy the autumn day and the last day of November.
In addition to beautiful views around the sea, there were also moments with barking dogs, but nothing prevented us from arriving on time.
Tools, varnishes, brushes and paint rollers were prepared.
First, the benches were sanded with tools.
Then they were varnished and left to dry. Unfortunately, some of the tables had already collapsed and the only thing that could be done was to forge new ones in the spring.
Since it was cool, a fire was lit and food was being prepared.
The chapel is built on top of the cliff with a wonderful view of the Black Sea.
We also had music and of course a very cheerful mood.
