This weekend with @outlinez and our friends we were in the area of the village of Topolitsa. The occasion was to celebrate our friend's 50th birthday.
We were in one of the best maintained lodges in the Topolitsa area - Stroitel (Builder).
We gathered friends from all over the country and the party was very cheerful and memorable.
Before the birthday boy arrived, we prepared a festive decoration with many balloons in the colors of his favorite football team and the numbers 50 were made from beer pitchers as he is a big beer lover.
We all participated in the preparation of the festive table.
Pancakes were being prepared.
@nanast was making meatballs.
@fog043 made a great fish soup.
A barbecue was being prepared outside.
The cake was very delicious, made by @deska89 's mother.
This cute puppy is named Annie. His breed is a Toy Poodle and he is really like a toy.
We had a lot of fun at the party.
The weather was very cold and very windy and it started snowing during the night. We played with snowballs.
We expected the snow to pile up and it did. In the morning everything was white and some of us went to the peak to watch the sunrise.
The road was uniquely beautiful with all the snow charms formed on the trees.
The wind was very strong up there and the temperatures quite cold. The sun didn't show, but it was beautiful with all this landscape transformed beyond recognition.
By the time we got home there was no more snow in the low country and only in the distance we could see the peaks covered in white.
