Accidents happens unconditionally and unexpected, most of them leave us with severe pain and bruises to our body,i once witnessed an occasion where an accident occured to me on the road when we were in a car,it is a day I would never forget.
We were on a journey to a program hosted by our church in a campground where all the district were to meet together and commune together with God but the unexpected happened on the road to the church who would have forseen it coming and wouldn’t prevent it from coming.
My dad was driving his car across the expressway to the campground and while he was driving the car he tried making use of the brake button in the car but it wasn’t going through and the car was at it’s highest speed, all that came to my mind was to shout “Jesus” from the top of my mind as we were unconscious about what to do.
He was struggling with the brakes to see if it would work but it wasn’t showing sign if it would work or not but we we’re just praying it should work as we know what the results of brake failure is and we wouldn’t want such to happen to us.
We were later saved by the brake when it co-operated once more as the car was moving with a high speed towards a building so my dad diverted his hand and tried controlling it as it was moving really fast and it landed just an inch towards the building which would have caused injuries in our body but we were happy that no casualties were recorded.
We all jumped out of the car when the car stopped and my dad called his automotive mechanic to come and take it to his workplace and service the brake or probably change it if need be or fix it in a good way so it would function well.
