"Have you ever worked (at your job) on the weekend? Explain what you like or do not like about it and why. Remember, your own photos are required."
Some people don't like working full-time, especially those who are married and have children. They choose to spend the weekend with their family and beloved children. But for a single man like me, there isn't a day without work, even though I don't have to go to the office, I still do something on my days off because I like to be active and look for busyness, but sometimes I think about spending time relaxing, but I can only do it for a few hours, unlike Most people like to spend all day at home without doing anything on weekends.
Currently, I work as an IT Staff in a private startup office in the city where I live, working hours are Monday to Friday from 07.30 to 17.00, sometimes if there is a work deadline I am asked to stay in the office on weekends, I don't mind and accept it I'm happy because staff who take work on weekends will get a bonus according to their overtime hours, that's why I'm still enthusiastic about working.
What I like about working in the office on weekends is that the office atmosphere is quiet, and only a few people are coming in, which makes my mood for work even greater because there is no commotion around me, making work more focused without distractions. Apart from that, there is also something that I like about going to the office on holidays is that I have more freedom to use a fast internet connection because the office is quiet, so during my breaks, I can download as many films or series as I like and watch them in my free time.
From the story above, it can be seen that I am more or less a person who is more comfortable when working individually, however, when I am required to work in a group, I also don't refuse it and continue to work optimally, but if there is a choice, maybe I will choose to work alone, that is the reason I continue work on holidays.
It cannot be denied that sometimes I also feel bored with the same routine every day, sometimes I also feel bored if I have to go to the office on holidays because it seems like I have no free time for myself, besides working when other staff are on holiday makes me complicated because when I need to ask the staff about work, they can't answer because they're busy at home or their cellphones aren't active.
What is safe is working according to your portion, if you have to go to work on holidays, I don't mind, but if you have to work almost every weekend, it feels like your body and brain are experiencing burnout. The point is to manage your work-life balance carefully so that everything is maintained. You also need to remember, that the body needs rest and exercise to stay healthy and fit. Don't force your body to continue working. Try to listen to your body, and give it what it wants. Chasing a target or dream is everyone's desire, but there is no need to force it and rush because something that is forced, will result in unpleasant things.
While you have time off, take a break. While working, focus. Thanks @galenkp for this interesting Weekend writing Suggestions
