Jose's life was like the pacific ocean. A majestic element of nature, without it his journey would seem incomplete and impossible . Everyday he was hit by its big waves, giant forces of nature that always tried to push him off the right course. But he fought hard, pulling his sails back to place, and fixing the leaks in his boat.

Not sorry and carelessly, it splashed its raging anger on Jose and his boat. It was as if it wanted him to fail in his journey. Jose got up to look, maybe there was an island he could make a stop. But unfortunately there was none, he had to keep pushing. He made a quick run down the cabin, he had to make sure his family was alright. His wife Fatima, kept on begging him to stay with her and the children, "I and the children are scared" she said. " I know, but who will take care of the boat from the raging waters if I stay back?", Jose asked. Tears rolled down Fatima's cheeks as she saw her husband run back up.

With increasing speed and velocity, the wind kept on using the waves against Jose and his boat. Jose fought with all his strength against the resistance of gravity. He tried with all his mind to take back control. At first sight Jose thought they were tall rocks on an island. Hope! finally, he thought. But his eyes were deceiving him because he was leading his boat directly towards tall sharp rocks that could destroy his vessel. When he looked closely, he could see he was walking into a death trap so he skillfully tried to maneuver his boat, knowing that one impact with those rocks would be enough to end his journey on life's ocean. He fought endlessly, using the sails but the boat was just like an empty match box, it was being tossed around effortlessly by the raging current. But he heard a big thump like something underneath hit the boat and his course changed totally. That's when he was the beast, it was so large and scary, yet so beautiful.

It had a large purple head, with tusks like a unicorn. Jose could see his reflection from the eyes of the beast and it seemed it was there to help him. He got out his lines, and without trust or thinking twice he threw it into the water, attaching it to the beast tusks, he hoped it would lead him in a safe direction. However the beast had different ideas, pulling the boat, Jose and his family into the deepest part of the ocean to live with its kind where the skies kiss the ocean.
