Agreement is one of the things i hold so dear to my heart and keeping my side of the agreement has always been a priority not until that day i breached an agreement with my boyfriend
Emmy was my first boyfriend in college and he is one of the most popular guys on campus. He has a 'swag' that makes girls drool over him and fall head over heels for him. And one of the bad habits i told him i don't like in relationships is keeping me waiting at an eatery without a prior notice
My name is Susan. As a naive freshman in college, I was just fifteen, coming from a strict family, I planned on exploring my campus life and enjoying my life to the fullest.
When Emmy came around, I felt like I was the luckiest girl on the planet..it felt so surreal and I experienced so many girls' hatred, envy, and jealousy.
Emmy is an outgoing, party freak and it just fits into the lifestyle I wished for. He was also a freshman but I guessed he has a pretty nice way of adjusting to new environments. He is familiar with almost all the college lecturers.
On that fateful morning, Emmy had called.
My phone beeped, I picked it up to check the caller ID, "Heartthrob"
"Hello darling"
"Good morning Sweetheart" I mumbled, still lying in bed, covered with a duvet.
My baby girl sounds like an angel" he cooed, making an adrenaline rush down my spine
"I wouldn't mind hot bread and tea in bed, but I'm here alone covered in my duvet" I smiled, rolling my eyes and imagining him right by my side...
"Baby, there is something important I'll want us to discuss," Emmy said...
"Okay, let me on,"
"Not over the phone, can we meet at Crystal eatery by 4 pm?"
"Okay,"... I said excitedly
It was a hassle picking the best cloth to wear. After searching and searching my wardrobe, I eventually went for the Black Velvet gown he bought for me some weeks ago...
I smiled at my reflection, took a deep breath, and adjusted my eyeliner. My room was a mess but I will clean it up when I am back.
It's almost 4 pm, so i hurried out of the room. Ever since I started dating Emmy, I've learned to carry myself graciously but now that i have to keep my side of the agreement to time, I walked down the street and flagged a motorbike.
"Crystal eatery," I said to Bikeman
"Okay, let's go, your money is #200". He ignited the bike as I mounted it.
"Baby girl... you look so stunning,"... Emmy complimented as I got to the eatery
"You were late" Emmy said rolling his eyes.
"I'm so sorry, i had a tough time picking a perfect dress, and i forgot to send a text.. I'm very sorry.." I said apologetically
"It's fine, we are imperfect, and even if we try to be, there will always be exceptions." Emmy said.
