Wedding Ceremony Of My Cousin

Hello everyone
I hope everything is going well and good. Yesterday night it was the wedding of my favourite cousin, his name is Abbas Haider. He is one of my favourite cousin, I think he is 2 years elder than me and we spend our childhood together. We grown up together, spending our time playing different kind of games such as Cricket, badminton, tennis. Apart from these, he loved football the most.

The Wedding dinner was very tasty, the menu consisted of rice, chicken, curry, cold drink, dessert and many other side dishes. Many people's were invited there and we had a lot of fun.

My cousin is an exceptional guy and I truly believe that he is the best cousin in the world. Whenever I needed someone in my hard times, I always found him behind me, supporting me in every situation.

They played my favourite songs, while eating the dinner they also arranged the Qawali Night. Qawali is basically a religious type songs, which is sang by the religious person. So, my uncle also invited 3 to 4 person for the Qawali.

Finally, after eating the dinner we stayed there for some time and then we came back to home. I really enjoyed the ceremony, taking pictures of the couple were strictly prohibited, so that's why I didn't took their picture.

It will be a very memorable day for me. And now I'm waiting for my marriage, I don't know when the time will come however, I'm eagerly waiting for that day.😄

...Thanks for stopping by...

This sound so wonderful. Your narration gave me that feeling it was a memorable experience and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I love your narrative but it would have been more engaging if you had brought in fictional elements into play.

I'm glad you enjoyed my narrative😊

Hi @mudassarfoladi. Thanks for joining us in The Ink Well. Please be sure to read our community rules and learn about the types of posts we accept in our community before you post again here.

We only accept short stories in The Ink Well. They can be fictional (made up stories) or creative nonfiction stories from your own life experience.

Please take the time to read our article on creative nonfiction, which describes the genre, and the similarities of creative nonfiction to fictional stories.

Creative nonfiction stories are true stories, which are told like fiction. So, for example, a creative nonfiction story should have elements of fiction such as characters, dialogue, action, a conflict that is resolved, etc. If you read the article that will help! You can also see some great examples of creative nonfiction stories from our community members:

Other kinds of nonfiction posts, such as lifestyle blogs, advice columns and personal growth stories should be posted in other communities. Thank you.

Okay I will go through it😊
