Greetings, thank you very much to the c-venezuela community for this initiative, it is a pleasure to participate with you.

. My participation in this initiative will be somewhat different from what i suppose other Hivers will present. I have many memories of Venezuela and i am proud that thinking about them is always my family, it can be the beach, a river, in the mountains, in the snow, in a park, a meeting or an occasional outing.

The beautiful thing about Venezuela is that it lends itself to create very pleasant memories, especially for its people who have a charisma and a warmth that makes you feel that you found your brother in every corner. Of course, there are always people of all kinds.

My participation in this initiative will come from the memories i am creating in this present. I am with my 5 month old nephew and i want these to be my first positive memories of Venezuela with him.

I will only make one small caveat and that is that i will not show his face, instead i will show him an Emoji that represents his face at that moment.

Building memories

I have been away from Merida for a short period of time. I am currently in Caracas and the reason was to support my sister in her return to Merida. She has had several years working and living in Caracas, she likes it here and would like to live here, but with the arrival of her first child (my nephew) she has decided to change the hectic pace of the city for the tranquility of the Andean mountains and the support of the family.

Prior to aircraft clearance

While i support her in her logistical work, i take the opportunity to get to know the city. I had come to Caracas before, but this city changes constantly and one always arrives as a tourist after a while, so my sister has served me as a tour guide.

I would like to show the liveliness of the city, the impulse that transmits the people and their warmth, but I think you feel that, it is something that unintentionally at first overwhelms you. But then you understand that the city is like that and it makes you want to share that feeling, something like being on the street and you see that everyone is selling something and it makes you want to sell something, to be more proactive.

In the Caracas subway

Speaking of warmth, this was one of the things that stood out the most about the central hull. There are areas where the heat is suffocating and we were worried about the baby because he was very irritated, so that it did not hit him so much, we had to blow wind as if we were fans, so he was also distracted watching us. Then there were areas where the heat was more tolerable, of course i guess it affected us more because we come from a warmer area where the use of sweaters is a daily thing.

The city is big, but once you recognize the main avenues, you can guide yourself a bit. But, there are so many sidewalks, streets... that even a couple of drivers from a transportation app we used needed GPS guidance to get to the address we asked for.

The first days in the city were very hectic as we coordinated well the place where we would stay, it could not be in his residence because it is exclusively for girls, we also organized the schedule and time. But, we tried to create moments of recreation and in one of the first outings downtown we visited a place that my sister had always wanted to visit and she got tired of looking for it and could not find it until by chance we found it. She asked me if i wanted to go in and well i didn't know the place or anything so i accepted, i didn't know that she was dying to go in, but she made an expression on her face like when a baby pouts and i immediately understood that she wanted to go in jajaja for me it was very funny.

imagen.png

The place is Kfe en Taza is located on Avenida Urdaneta between Avenidas Norte N°3 and N°5 caracas building 38. when you enter the place the smell of coffee fills all your senses, there are many things to see but what stands out the most about the place are the cats they have.

The cats came and went. I didn't manage to capture them all on camera, some of them were in different cat play areas. This is the most characteristic of the place, the cats entered small tents, big dice or passages made for them. I also saw some swings, but I didn't see them riding on them. If you want to play with them, there are some feathers tied to sticks to get their attention and I noticed that they are very used to being petted, so if you feel an urge to touch one of them don't be shy.

imagen.png

Don't be so hard on yourself, also accept that you are human and that you can make mistakes and lose control from time to time.

It's okay not to be okay, it's part of the balance you need in your life to keep going.

Evolving - Calm down - You're going to be fine.

Here you can see the little legs of one of the michis in its special entrance.

imagen.png

I had seen places for dogs to share with other dogs and their owners, but not a cat place. It is a very characteristic place, where you can see and play with some cats that are also huge.

imagen.png

imagen.png

Then came the beats and the desserts we ordered. I ordered a brownie and my sister a pineapple cake. We always do something very characteristic in our family, if we are undecided about what we want to eat, we order several things and then we divide the plates so that we all try each other's. On this occasion it was the same, my sister wanted to try the brownie and i wanted to try the pineapple cake. On this occasion the same thing happened, my sister wanted to try the brownie and i wanted to try the pineapple cake and we had some to share with each other.

imagen.png

The cafe is a really nice place to spend time with kids, friends or family and the distraction is guaranteed with those cats playing with everyone and everything.

I'm still in Caracas and i'm still creating memories, i will continue to share about our walks. But, i wanted to take advantage that i am here to share what i am living in the city and what better way than with this initiative of positive memories in Venezuela.

I've never been to a place where there are cats, but it's nice to see they have this in Caracas. Cats must be like magnets to kids and at least you can keep them calm and in one place while you're having a bite to eat or a coffee. I've never been to Caracas, maybe one day I'll visit, when things get a bit better.

Surely if you give yourself the opportunity to visit Venezuela you will fall in love with the beauty that you can find from the east to the west.

One day, when things get better over there :)

😜👌☺️👍💃💃💃💃

Hello
It was a very good experience and it is true what you say about the cats and the kids. There was a child that when we arrived was playing with them and we were already leaving and the child was still playing and the Dad wanted to leave. The other thing is that as there are several cats, suddenly one gets tired for a while and another one arrives attracted by the attention.

I will try to upload more content from Caracas to encourage you to visit it. Maybe I'll be back in Mérida when things get better, but i think any caraqueño will give you a warm welcome.

I also like to smell the coffee when I enter a cafe... and it is a perfect one if it allows cats!!! Love it!
Enjoy your stay in Caracas!!

Hola amiga!
