Yes, Barbie was a huge movie this year. That's probably why there's been such strong auction activity on the box of Barbies that I found alongside the road.
This doll is no exception. In fact, it was only on auction for 5 minutes before someone paid full price for it.
If there was ever a throw-back era doll to the Golden Age of Hollywood, this one is it. She's got the script, the pool lounge and of course the classic sun shield.
This doll was in the original case and had never been opened. The profit on it was $18 which keeps pushing the total for the box of discards toward $200. This has been a fun find and a profitable one also.
