Elegancia... Frescura... Delicadeza... Comodidad... Estos eran los requisitos de los outfits que quería lucir este fin de semana.
Hace unos días atrás en uno de mis post, comenté que tenía un evento especial este fin de semana pasado.
El evento era formal, pero la locación era bastante incómoda, además hacía mucho calor en el lugar y estaríamos por muchas horas allí, así que llevaba un buen tiempo buscando opciones para que los 3 outfits de adaptaran a lo que quería.
Después de algunos meses de planificación el día llegó.
Además de armar mi outfit también ayude a mi hermana a escoger el suyo, pasamos todo un día probando ropa y estilos, combinando prendas y texturas, las cosas que le parecían más desfasadas eran las que mejor le quedaban 😁.
Para ella escogimos el día viernes un outfit con base negra (cosa que a ella le aterraba, pues no es de usar looks monocromáticos y mucho menos en negro), y un blazer en tono verde musgo para aportar algo de color.
Accesorios dorados y un bolsito en color camel que haría juego con las zapatillas y su cabello 😍.
Sabía que quedaría hermosa, y cuando la Vi en persona se veía Regia y como toda una ejecutiva 💚.
Yo por mi parte... Opté por un monocromático también pero en tonos claros, beige y blanco... Sin blazer. Accesorios puntuales en tono dorado, una correa en marrón para acentuar la cintura y cartera tejida que combinaban con mis sandalias de corcho. (Que no sé si estan pasadas de moda o no... Pero las amo y tienen la edad de mi hija conmigo 😁)
Obviamente una mujer prevenida se lleva en el bolso unas sandalias de repuesto para cuando el pie se ponga como un jamón 😂. Pues ya cuando tenía 6 horas con estas sandalias más el calor mis pies crecieron como pancito de banquete. Pero las sandalias bajitas también combinaban excelente.
Por otra parte, al break del medio día dimos un recorrido por los espacios del lugar, y soy amante del Sol pero también le huyo en sus horas potentes, por eso me lleve mi sombrero que me protegía y también sirvió para complementar el look.
El maquillaje fué sencillo, sin tanto producto pues con semejante calor quedaría como una vela derretida. Solo usé protector solar, un poco de color y delineado en los ojos y mucha máscara de pestañas y un labial en tono nude ladrillo. 😍
Me sentí muy cómoda y a gusto con el look de este primer día, aunque el calor en Valencia fue HORROROSO y el forum era bastante cerrado en cuanto a ventilación, le di un 10/10 a este outfit monocromático pues cumplió los requisitos que buscaba. Les confieso que este estilo de ropa me trae enamorada... No sé si me aportará más edad o no, pero me encantaaaa 🙈.
En los próximos días les mostraré los looks restantes. Me despido con cariño hasta un próximo post 🤍✨
Elegance... Freshness... Delicacy... Comfort... These were the requirements of the outfits I wanted to wear this weekend.
A few days ago in one of my posts, I mentioned that I had a special event this past weekend.
The event was formal, but the location was quite uncomfortable, plus it was very hot in the place and we would be there for many hours, so I had been looking for a long time for options for the 3 outfits to suit what I wanted.
After a few months of planning the day arrived.
Besides putting together my outfit I also helped my sister to choose hers, we spent a whole day trying out clothes and styles, combining garments and textures, the things that seemed the most outdated were the ones that looked best on her 😁.
For her we chose on Friday an outfit with a black base (which she was terrified of, as she is not a monochromatic look, much less in black), and a moss green blazer to add some color.
Gold accessories and a camel colored bag that would match the sneakers and her hair 😍.
I knew she would look beautiful, and when I saw her in person she looked regal and like a real executive 💚.
I for one... I opted for a monochromatic also but in light tones, beige and white..... No blazer. Spot accessories in gold tone, a brown strap to accentuate the waist and woven purse that matched my cork sandals. (Which I don't know if they are old fashioned or not..... But I love them and they are my daughter's age with me 😁).)
Obviously a forewarned woman carries in her purse some spare sandals for when the foot gets like a ham 😂. Well already when I had 6 hours with these sandals plus the heat my feet grew like banquet bread. But the low sandals also combined excellent.
On the other hand, at noon break we took a tour of the spaces of the place, and I am a lover of the sun but I also run away from it in its powerful hours, so I took my hat that protected me and also served to complement the look.
The makeup was simple, without so much product because with such heat I would look like a melted candle. I only used sunscreen, a bit of color and eyeliner on my eyes and lots of mascara and a brick nude lipstick. 😍
I felt very comfortable and at ease with the look of this first day, although the heat in Valencia was HORROROUS and the forum was quite closed in terms of ventilation, I gave a 10/10 to this monochromatic outfit because it met the requirements I was looking for. I confess that I'm in love with this style of clothing.... I don't know if it will bring me more age or not, but I love it 🙈.
