Greetings in the community friends and welcome you to this post, We have another episode of the Outfit inspired by initiative as i still have creative inspiration for the challenge where i am featuring an outfit inspiration from another all time favourite classical movies. "The Sound Of Music" 1965 as my fifth chapter of the initiative.
The Sound Of music movie released in 1965 is a musical setting movie set in Salzburg Austria starring protagonist Maria Rainer an eccentric temporary governess to the seven children of a former naval officer, Captain Georg von Trapp. today i decided to take creative inspo from the outfits that maria wore in this movie as i recently re-watched the sound of music, it gave me an idea to put a modern twist to the looks of common attire that was worn around the time featuring a rather modern classical pieces anyone in this era would wear casually. To recreate this look i basically took silohutees of clothes that feature the type in maria rainer outfit in the movie as maria arrives at the vontrapp's family mansion she is featured wearing a sober Gray dress with pleated skirt under a linen jacket with a high collar, a funny boater hat, black stockings, and neat little black boots.
taken a regularly white button up shirt i layer this with a denim corset, the arms of the arms of a button up is liking to the arm of clothes in the 60's corset detailing was also a rather prominent trends in outfit around the time which is why i layer on top of the white button up the bandeau denim corset, for the pleated skirt i am wearing a sky blue flowy maxi-skirt with pleats on the side and to finish off i paired my look with a modern day airforce 1's.
This my modern approach to recreating a Dirndl dresses from the past... this definitely isn't an everyday style for me as you would already know, but i see myself wearing this for a play in theatre as it is a really interesting look and is a representation of my love for the sound of music movie. ,what are you thoughts, have you seen the sound of music?

"The Sound Of Music" 1965 como mi quinto capítulo de la iniciativa.
Sonrisas y lágrimas", estrenada en 1965, es una película musical ambientada en Salzburgo, Austria, protagonizada por la protagonista Maria Rainer, una excéntrica institutriz temporal de los siete hijos de un antiguo oficial de la marina, el capitán Georg von Trapp. Hoy he decidido inspirarme en los atuendos que Maria luce en esta película, ya que recientemente he vuelto a ver Sonrisas y lágrimas, y me ha dado la idea de darle un toque moderno a los atuendos comunes que se llevaban en la época, con piezas clásicas bastante modernas que cualquier persona de la época llevaría de manera informal. Para recrear este look, básicamente tomé siluetas de prendas de vestir que presentan el tipo de atuendo de maria rainer en la película, cuando maria llega a la mansión de la familia vontrapp, aparece con un sobrio vestido gris con falda plisada bajo una chaqueta de lino con cuello alto, un gracioso sombrero de boater, medias negras y unas pulcras botas negras.
Tomo una camisa blanca abotonada y la superpongo con un corsé vaquero, los brazos de una camisa abotonada son parecidos a los brazos de la ropa de los años 60. Los detalles de los corsés también eran una tendencia bastante prominente en los atuendos de la época, por lo que superpongo el corsé vaquero bandeau sobre el botón blanco, para la falda plisada llevo una maxifalda fluida azul cielo con pliegues laterales y para terminar emparejo mi look con unas Airforce 1 modernas.
Este es mi enfoque moderno para recrear vestidos del pasado ... esto definitivamente no es un estilo de todos los días para mí como usted ya sabe, pero me veo usando esto para una obra de teatro, ya que es un aspecto muy interesante y es una representación de mi amor por el sonido de la película de música. ¿qué os parece, habéis visto el sonido de la música?
