📝English Version

Greetings.

Recently, I decided to bet on a new strategy in Gods Unchained by purchasing some cards from the Market, specifically focusing on improving my Death Deck.

My idea was to build a composition that maximized the use of Frenzied and creatures that excel at putting pressure on the opponent. Among these acquisitions, my first choice was the card Barbed Fly.

Frenzied: If you have dealt damage to the opponent’s god this turn, your god becomes frenzied. When frenzied, effects that have a frenzied condition can be triggered.

Barbed Fly is a 3/3 creature that might seem simple at first glance, but its strength lies in its ability to maintain pressure in aggressive combats. It fits perfectly into my strategy due to its balanced attack and defense stats. Of course, as soon as it is played in battle, it deals 1 damage to both gods, but if I am in Frenzied, it will deal 3 instead of just 1.

The idea here is simple:

Press the opponent as early as possible. The Barbed Fly ensures that I can not only take advantage of Frenzied, but since it is a 3/3 creature, it is capable of surviving many early encounters, especially against opponents trying to control the board early.

My strategy is complemented by other cards focused on the Frenzied effect.

By combining this with other cards that scale with this state, I can create a continuous pressure cycle, where even if the opponent tries to hold the board, my creatures keep causing problems and constantly provide me with advantages.

Since I started using this strategy, I’ve noticed that it works especially well against slower decks that rely on control or healing throughout the game.

Another interesting card I acquired was Undead Roach.

Even with its modest 2/2 stats, it has the Afterlife ability, which, if I’m in Frenzied, it returns to my hand, and I can use it in the same turn.

It’s quite possible to get a cycling effect, where I could simply use it to attack a stronger creature and eliminate itself, then play it again to activate its effect.

And then to wrap up, I acquired two more summoner cards.

But why summon a 1/1 Zombie spending this amount of mana?

image.png

Simple, I plan to use removal effect cards on them, yes, those cards that sacrifice a monster to activate an ability. Normally, this combines with abilities that give attributes to all your creatures, like Lech. Additionally, I’ll also have to use Just a Nibbe to heal my god, depending on how many Barbed Fly I can play in sequence.

Frenzied: If you have dealt damage to the opponent’s god this turn, your god becomes frenzied. When frenzied, effects that have a frenzied condition can be triggered.

A ideia aqui é simples

Hey! You mention Acolyte of Death in your post, but there is no such card under that name.

Also Curse of Greed is not affected by the God's health as you seem to imply - "Curse of Greed, which take advantage of when the enemy god is damaged".

You also mention Numb, but there is no card or ability with that name.

If you fix these inconsistencies in the names and the card mechanics I will nominate your post for curation.

The cards you analyse fit on a Zombie deck, but are not generally considered 'best-in-slot', meaning the best choice for the mana cost and their main effect. It would be interesting if you could discuss how these cards you selected offer an advantage in your particular deck.

It would also be great if you could show a complete deck that includes the cards under analysis, so the reader can get an idea of how the cards work in the context of a complete decklist.

Greetings friend, perhaps it was a translation error.
The letter I'm talking about “NUMB” refers to JUST A NIBBE, some people call it that because of its similar image.
I'll correct it right now, thank you for your attention, I would have liked to use #commentrewards here for you to get a percentage of the votes.

@agrante

Thanks, I'll try to create something more satisfying.

I see you just deleted the paragraphs with the incorrect information. That is fine, but your post is now less informative.

You should also know that I can read Portuguese 😜
