4TH of July breakfast

My son is quite a grill master. I have shared here before about many of the wonderful meals he has cooked out on my grill when he has been here visiting me for the weekend.

He just got a new grill and since today was a holiday here in the US he cooked breakfast on the grill for himself and his wife.

Here are the photos of their 4th of July omelet!

The grill has a place for wood chips to be added to enhance the smokey taste

And even a window for viewing without the need of lifting the lid and letting all the heat escape.

Fresh rosemary

Breakfast on the balcony! I think they are missing all the times of dining in outdoor cafes in Paris during their recent holiday!

Yes it rained but above all it was very windy and we have very large trees in front of the house that had us quite scared.

Ghee has been available here in health food stores, but for the past couple of years it has made an appearance on grocery store shelves. I have never used the spray version, I think that is something new.

Do you do much outdoor cooking? Being here alone and cooking for one, I tend to go for easy stove top meals, but I love it when the kids are here and prepare food on the grill.

He is a great cook and deserves fine equipment. He put their 10 yr old grill out in the alley with a sign that said 'still works' , and it immediately vanished.
