Interesting things happening lately here in my country, I must say that I am not that against online gambling as long as it is regulated, and there's a big portion of the pot going to tax, which then hopefully can be used to fund the infrastructure development in this huge country. But the thing is that gambling in general in banned and prohibited here in my country, it is wrong from the law perspective and also wrong from the religious view. But still, we have a huge problem with gambling, and now the use of the internet has shifted to online gambling, a sad thing for one of the said religious countries in the world to have a betting problem.
The big new is coming from one of the heads of the bureau here in the country during his last statement that he has reported the master of all the gambling here in the country, and it all leads to one person with the initial "T". He even mentioned that this guy will never be touched as long as this republic is still around, it shows the power that this guy has so that he seems to be untouchable.
The news sparks a discussion and wild guesses in social media, churning with the mainstream news outlet that spreads the info that makes everyone wonder who the guy really is.
The interesting thing is that these people ran online gambling from Cambodia, maybe to make it harder for the police to track them down and to catch them as they are outside of the police jurisdiction, and also it needed more effort with the Interpol if they wanted to catch him in Cambodia.
Now the question is how will the government try to catch them. In the last term of Joko Widodo's presidential term, things seem to be a little bit interesting. will he be able to save his image and still be the favorite President of all time?
