After spending almost one hour writing this post and when I was about to hit the publish tab, I made a technical mistake and lost my draft. Very frustrating but I had to overcome my emotion and redo what I did.
I am not sure if I can recall all the contents and the subheadings. Anyhow, this is my fifth post about my journey on Hive.
In my post three days ago, I ended my Hive story by mentioning @bradleyarrow's BBHO project and by powering up 4.047 HIVE. Yesterday, I shared my third reflection on John Murray's book. Today, I want to pick up what I left off three days ago.
Solar Story
Though @paradoxtma shared about building up the greenhouse, what caught my attention was the solar panel. This attracted my attention because of our situation in the school where we are paying between 120 to 140 thousand pesos for our electric bill. And we have been discussing for so long about building up a solar panel to address this energy problem.
The cost mentioned by @paradoxma is not as expensive as I expected. That $4,600 is equivalent to more or less 250,000.00 pesos; the bills that we pay cover two months. How I wish that the BOT and the President will find the needed funds to build such a solar panel sooner.
Healthy Lifestyle
It is so sweet to see @atma.love harvest the crops from his garden. In response to my comment, not only did I learn tips about healthy living, but I also learned the meaning of "sprout," an unfamiliar word for most non-native English speakers. Though we have plenty of space on our campus suitable for gardening, the challenge for me is how to find time amidst a crowded schedule.
Hive Engine Wallet
Last 11 September, my Hive Engine wallet does not contain any single token in it:
After a week, I received nine tokens. Thanks to @bradleyarrow for his BBH project, @anadolu for the Cent token project, @khaleelkazi for the InLeo project, and @greywarden100 for his SME upvotes.
The estimated value of my wallet is $0.38 for now. I consider that small amount like a seed that will grow into a tree in years to come. I will be staking all the Hive Engine tokens that I will receive both from curation and content creation. Moreover, depending on my financial situation, buying HIVE and other HE tokens is part of my micro strategy.
Curation
My curation experiment did not push through as expected. As you can see after seven days I received no curation reward. This tells me that my upvotes do not count.
So I decided to remove my HP delegation from @dustbunny.
Author Rewards
As for author rewards, I find them profitable particularly the InLeo Threads. I made threads about my first post, powering HIVE, and two comments' on @anadolu's post about the TRADE token.
That's it! Though I was discouraged earlier by my technical mistake, nevertheless, I managed to reach this far. That's the extent I can remember, though I feel that I lost the spirit of my original composition.
As usual, I want to conclude this article by powering up 2.487 HIVE!
