I'm here to say that God is calling every one of us; nobody is exempted from this call.
Take, for instance, your natural Dad called, and you declined his call or worked away while he called; to humans, it's an insult to him. The same thing to God, if God calls you and you refuse to attend to His call, it's an insult to Him. Therefore, when God calls you, you have to respond to His call immediately for His love to be upon your life.
The Bible says;
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
This verse is about God who knows everything about us now and in the future. He knows when evil will come, he knows when you are in a problem, and he wants to use that problem you are in to make you a better person. It is left for us to come into a relationship with Him, so we know the hope and the future He has for us. The important part is that He has a future for us.
God is calling us into a relationship with Him, so we know the purpose He has for our future. He is encouraging us to respond to his call with faith and obedience so that we will know the plan he has for us.
Proverbs 23:18 For surely you have a future ahead of you; your hope will not be disappointed.
This verse also says that there is a future ahead of us, and the Hope of this future God has for us will not be taken away by sickness, pain, death, and many ugly situations. This is God's word that we should hold unto his promises that have never failed and trust in Him for his positive results to come to pass.
Psalms 62:5 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
Psalms 62:8 Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us.
This verse 5, is interesting. My soul waits on the lord for the expectations are from the lord, who made heaven and earth. Trust Him all the time, letting Him lead you to that place, where your future is. God is our refuge, He never chides. He is ready to accept us when we run to Him to be in his pavilion.
As he calls you, don't struggle, don't murmur, don't hide, don't change direction. Move as he calls. He loves you so much that he wants you to come into the purpose he has for you. Remember, he has a plan for you and that plan is to bring welfare, good, peace, and a better future.
