Some things happened in July. We relocated here (another town) on the 15th even though I initially thought it would take a while before we moved. It was the 28th of June last year when we visited this place and hoped to reside here someday. We didn't imagine that "someday" would come sooner.
Be careful what you wish for so they say...
But yeah, we packed some of our stuff and came. We didn't even unplug the fridge and other appliances in the Lil Kingdom. We just left like we would return the next day or two. But we didn't until last Friday, because on the 16th, we drove to my father-in-law's place and the LHI where we spent 3 nights 4 days. Thankfully, he is now well and kicking, cleared from his lab results of any ailments.
Also during the month, we missed two important occasions, a cousin's wedding (we were in the hospital) and the birthday celebration on Tuesday. Three in the fam are July-born (Mom, my brother, and I) and my sister thought it would be nice to enjoy the occasion at our parents' place as it was at my brother's house last year. Unfortunately, it coincided with my appointment in the city which could not be rescheduled. It was understood and the family had a lovely time.
All good!
Meanwhile, it's been a nice month here on the blockchain, just that we have gotten busier IRL fixing and organizing things so there were days when I had become less productive to the point of losing my streak on the PUM. Poof! Another unsuccessful attempt (3rd this year) in terms of daily power-up. Funny enough, I even mentioned in my post on that same day that I was on track with my daily staking, LOL!
Speaking of HP, there had been an addition of 1,023 in my stakes during the month (from 20,745 before my HPUD on July 1st to 21,768 HP today, 31st). That's about 4.91% growth in a little more than 4 weeks or 31 days, to be exact. Most of that is content rewards and I truly appreciate all who continually support whatever I share or put out there.
And these notifications from HB made me whoa-ing. More than 42k comments and 40k upvotes were distributed. A good amount of both (at least 10%) was on threads. The numbers will continue to grow unless I stop doing things altogether. Nah! We keep on pressing no matter what, onward and forward!
While June was a month of real-life adventures, July was too, plus it happened to have paved another beginning for us here at DD, away from where we have grown accustomed to. There's a bit of discomfort and inconvenience as we make certain adjustments in our new neighborhood but I am super excited about the endless possibilities that life here may bring. The lil girl in me remains expectant of more fun adventures, discoveries, and enriching experiences.
Bring them in August!😉
