Good evening everyone, I am Irene Matthew known as @Irenematt. I am a happy and proud teacher. I joined Hive in February 2022. I was excited to have discovered a new social media. After a few months of engagement, I found it difficult logging into the different interfaces that looked different from each other. I learnt many upgrades have happened here. Leofinance is now called inleo and that I can do microblogging here too.
My first post was made on Leofinance and I was later introduced to other frontends like PeakD and Ecency but I found it difficult to walk through all of that. I made a couple of posts and comments but I finally lost touch with this platform. I was able to dust off my account last month after I got a new device.

This is the picture I used when I made my forst post here on Hive. That date was 5th of February, 2022. Cool to be back after 31 months.
This time around, I'm back to stay and be more involved. My past few months of engagement of Telegram airdrops have opened my eyes to understand web3 better and the need for web3 social media. I was excited to come back to see all my posts intact. That has not been my case on Twitter (X) and Facebook.
15 Months Ago...
Seeing the post I made that had this picture 15 months ago gives me joy. The post was titled "TEAM- Together Everyone Achieve More" which featured my kids in school undertaking a table fixing project. That was the last post I made and opening my account and seeing the post reminds me that they are grown up kids, two classes ahead now.
I've got more exciting stories about the children I'm teaching. Let us look forward for a more beautiful future together in this platform. I will learn and share my life with you all.
