Hello everyone, I want to welcome you all once again to my blog. I want to share with you an outstanding topic ‘’great advice from my father’’

I woke up on Tuesday morning, I went into my parents' bedroom to say good morning to them. They both of them responded politely to my greetings and I was so excited. My dad said to me, go and prepare breakfast for me my lovely daughter and I left immediately
I was thinking of what I would prepare for him so I couldn’t figure it out, so I had to go back and ask him what he wanted to eat, he told me to prepare rice for him and I said I would do exactly as he said. I returned to the kitchen to prepare the food, I finished preparing it before 8. a.m. the morning
.
When I went into his room to invite him to the dining table he was shocked. He said to me are you done cooking? I said yes Daddy, he said God bless you, my daughter, you want me to live long. He called on my mum to come and join him and she came, they both ate to their satisfaction.
After one hour, my dad called me and I responded. He said to me go to the parlor and bring one chair for yourself I want to have a word with you. Immediately I heard him say he wanted to have a word with me, I wondered if I’d offended him in any way, and besides he hadn’t said such a thing before
. So we went into the parlor and got one seat for myself.
He said to me come closer to my daughter, and I drew closer to him and he started by asking me a technical question. He said to me what can you say about the world we’re living in? And I told him the world is spherical, and secondly, the world is dynamic, he said to me you’ve spoken well my daughter, you’re as brave as your father.
After that, he said to me I want to give you some advice because as the world is changing, so is he. He said to me I’ve sent you to school to acquire knowledge and also represent me whenever you’re called to do so. He told me he relied so much on me, and that’s why he doesn’t wish to see me suffer in any way.
He pleaded with me not to compromise no matter what, he urged me to always be serious with my studies and also call on my heavenly father when my problems are beyond human power. I asked him why he said all those things to me.
And he said he loves me that’s why he said it, and I was satisfied with his response.
He further took me to his library and showed me all the books he bought with his money, I asked him
what he wants me to do with those books, and he said if I want to grow spiritually as a child born into a priesthood family I should imbibe the spirit of reading inspirational books written by ministers of the gospel, and by so doing, I will start thinking like God, and also get to know more about him, and I looked at him
.
The last place he took me to was his altar. That altar is where we have our morning devotion. He called me daughter and I responded, and he said to me set an altar of prayer for yourself now that you’re young so that no other person will take you to an unknown altar.
He also advised me to raise a standard for myself so that no man can deceive me because the world is full of deceitful people in the form of humans.
Immediately he finished advising me, he laid his hands on me and prayed for me as a priest, and I felt the impact of his prayer.
In conclusion, I want to plead with all our parents to always try as much as possible to advice their children because if they don’t advise them, an outsider will do it and by so doing, they will face so many things in life because they didn’t do their responsibility properly.
