Everyone is in one relationship or the other. Humans are wired to relate with each other all the time. no human can survive on its own, therefore, we all need each other to survive. Anyone who thinks he can survive alone only ends up lying to himself because no matter how rich you might be, you cannot have everything that you need. Most times, the very important things that we need are always in the hands of those we often disregard. For this reason, it is imperative to treat everyone with respect and honor. Every human has dignity hence, they must be respected.

One of the reasons we have chaos in society is because, we happen to disregard the dignity of a fellow human being, we most times allow pride to overshadow us thereby blinding our sight from the true nature of human existence. Looking at society, we can agree that it is polarized into two major blocs; the poor and the rich, the sick and the healthy, the beggars and the givers, the educated and the illiterates, you can name them. Till eternity, this polarization will still be in existence and nothing can be done about it. Many people are in any of the following groups as a result of choice, while others are as a result of natural occurrences beyond human imagination. Whatever the case is, human relationship is a paramount thing.

A lot of people are unable to sustain a relationship because of their attitudes. There are so many things that define a healthy and lasting relationship. Many people cannot sustain a relationship because they tend to be beggars and liability in such a relationship. A type of relationship where one party is always a giver and the other party a beggar, hardly works. This is because, a giver tends to get tired of giving without receiving, and his resources are at risk too. In every parasitic relationship, the parasite is always gaining at the detriment of the host. In this relationship, if cares are not taken, the parasite usually renders the host incapacitated.

The point is this, do not be a beggar in any relationship you find yourself in, rather, let the giving flow naturally from the giver. To me, every beggar is a total turn-off, I cannot have anything lasting with you because I know that you're an unserious kind of person. The same might apply to other people. Learn self-control and be disciplined, it helps sustain relationships. A beggar has nothing to offer in any relationship, all he is interested is his gratification, and if not achieved he moves to the next person in line. The evil begging does to a person is that it makes you subservient to the dictate of the other person, making you a tool in the hand of such person, which he can regulate and use you the way he likes.

Every relationship that stands the test of time is one in which each party has things to contribute to the growth and development of each other.
