Happy Sunday, ladies and gentlemen!
I'm super excited today. You know, this day was set aside to worship God. Many of us attended church for a different purpose. You did, because you grew to see your parents go to church, wear clothes, shoes and dress decent, but you didn't understand the reason we go to church. Many go to church to avoid the sayings of the people around them or society.
I have this formula for you.
God - contentment - happiness
Many times, my happiness comes from God and not the material things. Genuine happiness comes with peace of mind. The Bible says that in the presence of the Lord, there is fullness of joy. I found joy, happiness that can't be compared with normal joy.
Truth be told, when you have Jesus this is where you will get your true happiness. This one is intact and it can't be taken away. And there is this happiness: when I encounter God's word that brings light to my spirit man, I will leap in joy.
Furthermore, we go to church for three things: to worship God, to pray, and to hear the word of God. This is important. We learn of Jesus in the gathering of the saints. We learn of His character, priority, righteousness, and judgment. So, having the word of God as your priority in your heart and applying it daily, would help us to leave a fulfilled life.
The word of God is wisdom, power, and sanctification and redemption. Having the word built in your life goes alone way to do signs and wonders in our lives.
Embracing the word of God will position you in contentment and happiness that will bring inner joy and satisfaction. Through this, purpose will be discovered and and a lot in your life will take shape.
Therefore, happiness is a great gain, when you know what to do ar the right time. God is awesome.
