Hey guys! It's always a pleasure to have you read my write-up and trust me, today isn't an exception 😊. I'll like to share my thoughts on why people with potentials don't like taking up responsibilities. The write-up is all yours, readily available at your disposal read carefully while keeping an open mind. 😍
The thought of inadequacy is predominant. There's always a fear of giving into an idea or an aspect of inexperience and when there is no caution, person's tend to capitalize on their inadequacies and it will definitely affect their growth.
I've been opportune to interview individuals for offices of varying capabilities. I realized that all they feared was the fact that they aren't ready and the feeling that they'll be unable to deliver effectively and efficiently. It's okay to accept reality and acknowledge your inadequacy and weaknesses, but it becomes an issue when there is no plan on growth and personal development.
Responsibility is what basically make individuals responsible and in most cases, you'll realize that in certain offices occupied by people today, at the onset of the course, they weren't perfect, yet... they were willing and ready to learn because they made themselves available and were able to accept that they need help and could reach out for it. Under prompt and efficient mentorship, you'll realize that at the end of the process, the unqualified yet available will be made qualified through their teachable nature and willingness to learn.
In conclusion, it's pertinent to give yourself an opportunity for growth. If you allow yourself to be engrossed with the mindset of: " it's my personality", " I don't and can't socialize", " I'm always isolated and I love my privacy", " I can't talk in a group of people", you'll be stuck with a lot of potentials that if it were given the opportunity of exploration, would be unleashed maximally.
