Hello dear readers, thank you for reading and liking my post yesterday. I really appreciate it. I want us to continue from where we left off yesterday and add more insights to it. We discussed the role of knowledge in building confidence in ourselves and trust in others. Today I want us to see the importance of knowledge in decision-making.
You can check out the previous post from this link: Knowledge: The Light of Life.
Take a look at the vast sea of choices we all have to make in our lives. This makes all of us captains sailing our destinies (ship) through the unpredictable currents of life. I see knowledge as a guiding compass, which will guide us and help us understand the terrain we are in at any given point in time. Much like an experienced captain who will strategically chart his course through the stormy seas, our decisions become informed and purposeful with knowledge.
Let me go back to the analogy I used in my previous post. When we entrust our car to a mechanic when it's faulty, it's not just about the fact that we trust their technical skills, but also the fact that there is reliance on their knowledge to diagnose and solve problems. In the same vain, we also will rely on the knowledge we acquire to solve the challenges that would come our way.
Knowledge not only lights our path, as I said in the previous post, but it also reveals hidden opportunities. Imagine looking for something in the dark; you may probably bypass it and not even know because you just can't see it. With knowledge, you would know what, how, and when to invest, what glitters but ain't gold, where exactly to go and at what time, who to relate with, and which company is just a waste of time and a setback. In short, knowledge helps you make decisions that will align with your goals.
One of the obvious things I must touch on is the fact that knowledge is never static; it evolves and adjusts, and just as the sea is in constant motion, so is the vast sea of knowledge. This is why we have to constantly update the knowledge we already have and keep adding new ones to it.
I hope this post has been insightful and helpful. Stay tuned for the next episode later today. Stay safe!
