Hello, hivers and toy collectors!
For today's post, I'd like to show you another model kit review. For this review, I have a kit for the Dragon Rapide, a small British passenger plane. This kit was produced in 1/72 scale by Heller, and made in France.
This airplane was built by the De Havilland aircraft company and designated as the DH-89, and was commonly known as the Dragon Rapide, or sometimes just the Rapide.
The DH 89 was built in the early 1930s and first flew in April of 1934. This airplane was designed as a short distance passenger plane, capable of carrying 6 to 8 passengers. It's reported range was 572 miles. Many of these airplanes served with the RAF during WW2 for training and communication purposes as well as transport duties. Many of the planes survived the war and had continued service as passenger planes through the 1950s. Several of these planes still survive in flight worthy condition.
Here is the video, it's about 9 minutes long.
Thanks for checking out my post and the video! I hope you found it interesting.
