I have built plenty of Lego models over the years. I had a lot as a kid that tended to end up getting mixed together in a big box and used to build things from my imagination. That tended to be buildings and machines. These days they seem to aim much more at the adult market (AFOLs are Adult Fans of Lego). A fairly recent range are a array of plants. I had a couple of these kits as presents and have just finished building them.
The first one I build was the orchid. We do have a load of real orchids, but this one will need less care, apart from dusting. First you build the pot.
Obviously there are lots of specialist parts. The detail is quite good with the shiny leaves and complex flowers. As usual there are a few spare parts. I tend to build on an oven tray to avoid losing bits.
Next we have a bonsai tree. Again you make the pot first and 'plant' the trunk in it with some twisting vines. The pot is filled with small, round parts that act as the soil.
From that point you have a choice. You can finish it with either leaves or blossom. I have opted with leaves, but I may change it over later. There is a stand for the whole thing.
I bought another kit directly from Lego with a voucher and it came with a free bonus kit of these wild flowers. That was a very quick build. I used our stash of bricks to make a pot for them.
So I have one more kit to build that is sort of a plant. You will have to wait to find out what it is...
