What a nice vacation. Travelling is still a bit stressful, we took 3 planes to get back and number two was delayed. Luckily number three waited for us, and the 44 other people trying to make that same connection to Bogota.
They waited, and we got our bags through too. Got some amazing tools through, you'll be seeing more of these in future posts, I'm sure of it.
Got in at 2:30am to the room we rent in Bogota, that night slept well, although my throat was already feeling a bit scratchy...
On the second day I developed a bit of a headache. I thought this could be from not drinking coffee, I went out around 3pm to breakfast and a coffee.
But that night, I really felt like shit. Achy bones, especially in my hips, and a terrible headache. It was the first time in my recent memory that I felt so terrible I couldn't sleep.
Did I pick up a bug travelling? Often the stresses related to travelling can lower our immune system right when we need it most.
Saturday we got some advil. That really helped and I was able to take a nap.on Saturday and sleep pretty well last night.
Today the headache is back, but I think I'm going to beat it. We'll hang around in Bogota for a few more days, I have plenty of things to work on with my computer, things I have been neglecting for the vacation and especially the end thereof.
Not sure which part of New York, snapped this flying into JFK
It was a great vacation, and we are loaded down with cool stuff.
I have a lot of work waiting for me, such is life, a good life.
No reason to rush into the wilderness all sick-like.
Freedom and Friendship
PS- did you see this awesome video we recorded with @snook on one of our last days? Worth a watch if I do say so myself.
