@ecoinstante and I made it to Bogotá and have had a great morning so far meeting people and talking about HIVE. Its a great opportunity and there is a great team here from HIVE Venezuela to help us out.
Look at these smiles!
First it was great to meet @fermionico, another great Hiver and founder of the FullDeportes community, something that we are ready to integrate into our local spanish onboarding efforts, as sports are very popular in Colombia including soccer and cycling, among others.
We got some stickers for Astral Wars, a alpha game ready to play for free (and bug test 😅) and have been doing a bit of guerilla marketing between conversations about Hive. Hive has games, but its not just games.
Hive has social media, but its not just social media. Hive is a growing ecosystem and talking about it with new people almost never takes the same form twice, we are not a one trick pony.
Then the earthquake hit! 6.3 centered on Bogotá, and after the initial shock the fire alarm sounded and we were all guided outside.
I accompanied a group of Mexican developers interested in Web3, walking them through the technical aspects of HIVE and its creation. We can offer a lot, and people have many questions. Outside or inside the event, I'm sharing the wonders of Hive with anyone interested!
We'll have a lot more updates to come for you all, know that HIVE has a great team anywhere in the world - ready to speak about real decentralization, real use cases, real sustainable development.
