Hi, Sketchbook community! Here I am sharing with you a zen art I created on a sketchbook. The purpose of doing zen art is to calm and relax yourself while being creative.
Warning: Long photos ahead!
So, I really had no idea what to do with an A5 sketchbook but I started with a flower using a pencil.
Within the flower, I made some line doodles, curves, and circles, as you can see above.
I decided to color it with Morandi Acrylic pens.
I decided to outline it using a black fine-liner pen number 08.
I added some details.
Do you think it's finished? Not yet.
For the thin lines, I used black fine-liner number 03.
Why does it look like an electric fan? Hahaha!
I just continued random designs here and decided not to use a pencil anymore.
Different sizes of pens, different feel.
Since this is circular, it looks like a wreath, a Christmas wreath, or just a random design of a wreath. The next design looks like the shape of a leaf.
This was really fun because I had no idea what the next design I could think of.
Let's add some details.
So, a flower is now surrounded by corns. Haha!
Whatever, let's continue.
The corns need a floater. Haha!
Let's add some random design again.
I am not sure if I see the eyes or feathers of a bird.
I don't understand what's next.
Okay, rectangles on rectangles.
Some circles around it.
Let's add diagonal lines, so many diagonal lines for this zen art.
Let's some details.
Looks better.
Here is the final look of my Zen Art.
