Maggie did not like to say anything untowards, but it was hard to completely enjoy one of Harriet's afternoon teas.
She was glad she didn't get handed the enormous cup, poor Susan Cloverleaf was currently struggling to balance, but the lidded Consomme' cup she was currently holding held a mystery which she was not sure she wanted to uncover.
Maggie Thumper smiled politely and hoped a biscuit would ease her worry. Harriet's tea parties were never boring, one could say that at least.
I hope you like today's new little character. I felt that Susan needed a chum to be uncomfortable at the odd tea party.
Sketch before color added
I'm still having fun with these little fellows. Their creation is almost becoming a nice little break in my studio; that moment to escape to a quiet anthropomorphized world of tea parties given by rabbits.
A GIF of a few of the layers.
I hope you enjoyed today's little painting and that you find a moment in your day to indulge in your own passions.
