Anna Honeypot stood stunned admiring her stoic friend, Agatha Thistledown.
She'd just been present at the tea with her dear old friend and lady Tabby. How Agatha was able to still smile with politeness, seeing lady Tabby out, was proof of her decorum.
Here, Lady Tabby had just informed Agatha that her dear little cottage, in which she and her sister had been born, and their father been Vicar to the village, was to be sold.
Anna knew she could offer condolences to her dear friend, but one would one say?
Anna was determined to offer up her own cottage to her friend and her sister, but she knew she'd never take her up on it. The only hope was their distant cousin, who'd recently retuned to the old family pile.
However you considered it, things were about to change about in the Village for sure. This selling off bits and bobs of land from Lady Tabby was going to affect many people here about. Anny Honeypot hoped it'd not be herself who'd next get caught in her web.
Sketch of Anna Honeypot without color added.
I hope you like my next little character and her bit in the storyline. Tho ,it's not much of a story really, just pieces and sketches of ideas, but I'm still having fun with them.

I'm amazed that it's been five days since my last post! And here I'd wanted so badly to at least do 5 posts a week...where does the time go. I shall try to do better, that is for sure, as I look forward to my Hive time.
To me February, tho it's the shortest month (even with this year being a leap year) seems to fly by. What seems like Winter stretching on forever in the first week of January soon zips to March and then I'm all a flutter starting to plan on getting things ready for the Summer. Gardening at the cottage, doing things here, it all becomes a blue, so I hope to set good habits posting here as well as studio time, so when busy Summer arrives, I'm ready for it and continue to be "good" content creator, whatever that might mean.
I hope you enjoyed my little illustration and that you find a moment in your day to indulge in your own passions.
