A new little character created for my bevy of New England critters. I've not her story just yet. Creating these characters considering them here in New England, I find their tales don't unfold to me quite as easily as do their English cousins? I'm not sure what that says about me other than what I probably already know: My Heart is always in England. haha.
Sarah Pebbleton in sketch form before color is added.
I did think, as we've our Otter character in his house in Beacon Hill, that perhaps Sarah is a poorer relation painting and spending her days in the Cape Cod Summer house year round. As she is a 'poorer relation' I thought she as a Weasel compared to the Otter, somehow fit?
A few layers in GIF form.
I'm jotting down some various characters and I Know I want a seagull to be an old sea captain on the cape, most like named Algernon after the real seagull whom I watch fish outside my window daily.
I am having fun with these characters and a follower also suggested, which I love, the idea of doing the characters with Letters of the alphabet. I rather like that, as it'd be a fun series in it's own right.
That is what I love about online life, is I can still be an isolated introvert, as is my want, but have the wonderful interaction of others via the digital world.
Do you find yourself living more and more online as time passes, or do you ever long for the pre-digital life of the late 20th century when Tech was a sort of sometimes gadget in our homes and not our plugged in world?
