Ves una cabeza de mas de 200 metros de altura con ojos brillantes bloqueandote la luz del sol. Moviéndose a la misma velocidad de un autobús.

You see a head over 200 meters tall with glowing eyes blocking out the sunlight. Moving at the same speed as a bus.

Sin saber que hacer, intentas buscar en tu celular una respuesta. Pero ves en el tablón de noticias, novedades como estas:

'Cabezas enormes han aparecido sin previo aviso causando destrases y enfermedades por toda Europa, Asia, África y los demas continentes'

'Los gobiernos estan en busca de una solución'

Not knowing what to do, you try to find an answer on your cell phone. But you see on the news bulletin:

'Enormous heads have appeared without warning, causing disasters and diseases throughout Europe, Asia, Africa and other continents'

'The government is searching for a solution'

Tu padre sale de su habitación con un bastón, temblando, se acerca a ti, pone su mano en tu hombro y te dice:

• He soñado que estaba en medio de una muchedumbre, había hombre con alas negras que volaba por encima de nosotros y decía con voz fuerte: '¡humanos alegrense, pues a llegado el momento en que sus almas sean separadas de sus cuerpos y reciban la paz verdadera!'

Your father comes out of his room with a cane, trembling a says:

I dreamed that I was in the middle of a crowd, there was a man with black wings flying over us and he said in a loud voice: 'Humans, rejoice, for the time has come when your souls will be separated from your bodies and receive true peace!'

Y agrega:

• Vi su rostro... él se burlaba de nosotros. Me temo que a Dios ya se le acabó la paciencia. EL VIENE.

And he adds:

I saw his face... he was mocking us. I fear that God has run out of patience. He is already coming.

Hola Amigos míos, sean bienvenidos, el día de hoy les traigo este dibujó, al verlo se me viene la idea de que viene algo GRANDE. Algo de lo que, si los dinosaurios pudieran haber elegido entre el metiorito y esto, de seguro hubieran preferido el meteorito.

Proceso Creativo // Creative Process

Era una mañana en mi escritorio, escuchaba música Neoclasica y en medio del coro. Me imaginé un paisaje apocaliptico...

It was a morning at my desk, listening to neo-classical music and in the middle of the choir. I imagined an apocalyptic landscape...

¡edificios derrumbandose! ¡rayos laser acabando con cuadras enteras! En el cielos habian nubes grises. Los láseres venian de arriba... y tambien de criaturas sacadas del comic mas bizarro que puedas imaginar.

Buildings collapsing! Laser beams destroying entire blocks! In the sky there were gray clouds. The lasers came from above... and also from creatures taken from the weirdest comic you can imagine.

No puedo dibujar lo que imaginé, no es comercial. Pero continuando con los retratos opte por realizar este dibujó que se acerca a la idea.

I can't draw what I imagined, it's not commercial. But continuing with the portraits I chose to make this drawing.

Paso #1 El boceto

Dibujo un cubo para poder dibujar la cabeza de manera eficiente, respetando la perspectiva. Decidí dibujarlo visto desde abajo, para transmitir que es superior.

Step #1 The sketch

I draw a cube to be able to draw the head efficiently, respecting the perspective. I decided to draw it from below, to convey that it is superior.

Paso #2 Darle Forma

Tomando como base el cubo que dibujé, empiezo a darle forma al cráneo, la frente y el mentón. Para añadirle complejidad y 'inmecidad' al dibujó dibuje a una personita en la esquina inferior izquierda.

Step #2 Give it shape

Taking the cube I drew as a base, I start to shape the skull, forehead and chin. To add complexity and 'inmecity' to the drawing, I drew a little person in the lower left corner.

Paso #3 Definición

Le termino de DEFINIR la cara, le pongo ojos, nariz, boca y mas características propias de un rostro. Le agrego montañas alrededor de la cabeza. Y acomodo el horizonte. Y esas flechas que ven por encima de la cabeza son para guiarme a la hora de dibujarle las luces y las sombras.

Step #3 Definition

I finish defining the face, putting eyes, nose, mouth and more features of a face. I add mountains around the head. And I adjust the horizon. And those arrows you see above the head are to guide me when drawing the lights and shadows.

Paso #4 El Claro-Oscuro

Le agrego luces y sombras. Le dibuje la luz viniendo desde atras para destacar que los ojos estan brillando. La nubes de la parte de atras me ayudan a que no pasen desapercibidos los contornos del rostro.

Step #4 The Chiaroscuro

I add light and shadows. I drew the light from behind to highlight the fact that the eyes are glowing. The clouds in the back help me to make the contours of the face not go unnoticed.
