NEW PENCIL DRAWING: LOST WITHIN

Hi everyone,

Today I’ll be sharing with you my recent pencil drawing. As some of you must have known, I’ve been focusing more on painting, trying to develop my skills and be the best I could be. Then i realised that it’s been so long since I made a pencil drawing. Skills needs to be sharpened from time to time. Losing my pencil skills isn’t something I’d love and so I decided to make a pencil drawing which is this particular drawing.

I choose this piece because I love the expression in her eyes. It shows being lost within oneself and so I called the piece Lost Within. It’s a concept I resonate with and so I decided to draw it out. I’m quite happy with the way the result turn out to be and I’m glad I haven’t lost my skills totally. I got the reference photo here on Pinterest.

This is so beautiful and well detailed. I am trying to imagine the tons of hours you must have made in drawing this out. So much of effort you put in these.
