Hello Lovers of Art!

It's been awhile here and I want to share with you improvement on my drawings to show you my new art work. Most times I always know I have to put more effort to my drawings because when i see them I feel i haven't improved at all, sometimes i think it is my tools I use but i realize practice makes perfection.

I decide to change my tools because i lack tools for my drawings and bought new tools for my drawing to become beautiful and be perfect, above are my tools i use for this drawing, I used charcoal pencil and powder, painting brush, eraser, correction pen etc.

So on my last Post (feel free to click on last post to get to see it) I got comment like I should explain how I did the step by step processes, so today I will like to do a tutorial on how I got to my destination. If you don't know anything about drawing or painting before, it might be really new to you but you can also draw though if you are determined. Something I noticed about me is my determination and my consistency, I wasn't taught neither did I go under training to learn from a boss. I'm a boss on my own

Now let's go to business the portrait was done with the tools above and i used cross hatching and hatching.

Below are my step-by-step processes:

This is the first process and how i get started i made use of grid, which is use for accuracy of picture and I used charcoal pencil and ball point pen to get started with the painting.

At first, I was scared if this process will end well and if i was getting the drawing perfect, so i decided to do some shading here using my charcoal powder with brush

Wow!!!
And to my greatest surprise this portrait is giving me great joy because i think i'm getting to my destination for real, so i kept on shading here using my charcoal powder and i also use ballpoint pen for the darken part for the face to brighten it.

The next process, i use a bigger brush and charcoal to smoothen my drawing, this portrait is actually giving me joy and i hope i am getting better in my drawing

So i decided to do the finishing, the part where is he is wearing a suit, i used charcoal pencil to do the finishing and tada here is the final process. This are the step by step processes i stated above and it came out so well even beyond my imagination.
