Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.
~Roald Dahl
Hello everyone!
It's again midweek and in the blink of an eye, it's already the weekend. What have you been up to lately? On my end, it's again another busy weekday in the office (as always).
To break the monotony, I pause for a while to give myself a little break and have it recharged by sprinkling a little bit of magic into it.
And since on weekdays, my time has no space for a therapeutic painting, taking a look at some of them, for me is therapeutic as well.
And yes, I see magic in it. From a loaded office table, with a hot sip of an afternoon coffee, this piece of art, an acrylic on canvas painting, can instantly take me to where my mind is wondering - to a quick magical escape. I could sit above the mixed-colored sky and have a breath of nature's rejuvenating air to get into my senses and give me the motivation I so needed to get through the hard day of work. I could have a stunning glimpse of the endless horizon and be fascinated with all the countless dazzling stars above me - thinking about how far they could take me. I could relax and close my eyes for a while listening to all the meditating sounds of magic soothing into every cell within me - repairing all the broken pieces. Yes, there is magic everywhere, if we just learn to open up our eyes to what our hearts want to see.
This is my magical escape from reality - having a glimpse of the colorful world I created. This is where I usually find myself running when the reality is a bit heavy to carry. This art is the magic that ignites a piece of hope when life's trouble is dimming my brightness.
And back to office stuff - this time, I am again ready to deal with another endless scroll ups and scroll downs. Lol!
How about from your end? What are your thoughts in the middle of a busy work week? I hope whatever it is that's been weighing you with heavy loads, may you learn to pause for a while and let your mind wander and I hope you find magic too.
Happy magical Wednesday everyone!
