In my drawing today you see a portrait of a man in the dark.
The effect of light is very great in drawings on black paper. For example, if the light is coming from the side, it gives the drawing a more three-dimensional look. If the light comes from above, we get a more mysterious drawing. Eye sockets remain in the dark. A serious or dramatic image is obtained. If the light comes from below, we may encounter a frightening sight. Because even the sparkle in the eyes has a strange appearance.
While I was drawing today, I lost the reference photo when I was halfway through the drawing. I had to do the rest of my drawing at random.
I did my drawing with a white pen on black paper as usual. I used an eraser from time to time. I hope you will like it.
