Hello! On this occasion, in character design based on products from my country, I bring you MAVESA margarine. Margarine is the most consumed in our country, much more than butter, and this MAVESA brand, which was purchased by Empresas Polar in 2001, is the most famous and the one with the greatest popularity for being one of the first to be promoted in the country. Nowadays there are many other brands of margarine but this one has an impact on the collective subconscious and if it is with an arepa with cheese, much better.

Hola! En esta ocasión en diseño de personajes basados en productos de mi país les traigo a la margarina MAVESA. La margarina es la más consumida en en nuestro país, mucho más que la mantequilla y esta marca de MAVESA que fue comprada por Empresas Polar en el 2001, es la más famosa y la que tiene mayor auge por ser de las primeras que se promocionaron en el país. Hoy en día hay muchas otras marcas de margarina pero esta tiene un impacto en el subconciente colectivo y si es con una arepa con queso mucho mejor.

For the design of this character I thought about it a lot since at the beginning it was totally the opposite of this final idea; Among the brainstorming, the one that stood out the most (before I came up with this final sketch) was of a plus-size woman, with long blonde hair in a beach style, having that concept because of the "Sabrosura" she has. this product, she was going to be lively and fun. At the end, when I was going to transfer the idea to digital, I began to sketch a woman who was a little calmer but who felt solemn and fantastic, simple but at the same time beautiful and with a soft and even seductive personality, inspired in turn by a Hellenistic sculptures.

Para el diseño de este personaje lo pensé bastante ya que al principio era totalmente lo contrario a esta idea final; de entre la lluvia de ideas la que más había destacado (antes de que se me ocurriera este boceto final) era de una mujer de talla grande, con el cabello rubio y largo en modo playera, teniendo ese concepto por la "Sabrosura" que tiene este producto, la iba a ser vivaz y divertida. Ya al final cuando iba a trasladar la idea a digital comencé a bocetear a una mujer un poco más en calma pero que se sintiera solemne y fantástica, sencilla pero a la vez hermosa y con una personalidad suave y hasta seductora, inspirada a su vez en una esculturas helenística.

I added a pillar with a sober appearance on which she leans, and in a certain way associated with the lid of the container. The dress comes in layers and with a wavy movement similar to the brand's new presentation. The hair falls softly down the arm and behind her associated with the softness of margarine.

Agregué un pilar sobre el que se apoya con una tendencia sobria, y de cierta manera asociado a la tapa del envase sin mucha ornamentación para que la protagonista fuese ella. El vestido viene en capas y con un movimiento ondulado parecido a la nueva presentación de la marca. El cabello cae suave por brazo y detrás de ella asociado a la suavidad de la margarina.

The colors, of course, are those of the packaging. Since the blue seemed very invasive in contrast to the woman's design, I placed that color only in the detail of the headband and the bracelet. I used orange, yellow and white colors in her dress in a gradient, adding the yellow lines that can be seen in the orange area of ​​the container. Finally, because I never know when to stop (hehe), I added some white sparkles in the bottom of the dress. I hope you like it!

Los colores, por supuesto son los del envase. Como el azul me parecía muy invasivo en contraste con el diseño de la mujer, coloqué ese color solo en el detalle de la diadema de su cabeza y el brazalete. Su vestido usé los colores naranjas, amarillos y blancos en un degradado, agregandole las líneas amarillas que se ven en la zona naranja del envase, a su vez, para finalizar porque nunca sé cuando detenerme (jeje) le agregué unos destellos blancos en la zona inferior del vestido.
